Thought
They don’t know it hurts me so hard to hear what they said after my father’s death. His pain is stopped and if he were still alive, he needs to continue suffering the syndrome. It’s like they know what we had gone through, till the point no matter what the worst condition my father had been, we kept thinking those f*cking pains would be healed. It’s a sadly true confession and I’d tried my best to accept my father had passed away..
There were the times when I had some imaginations about my future. What kind of man I will marry with. How many grandchildren I’ll give to my parents. My future husband will drive the car on a family vacation and my youngest child will sit on my father’s lap in the front seat next to my husband. My child will call him Opung. I smiled every time I ended to imagine about that. And now when I try to recall what I always imagine about, I end by crying.
I’d also tried my best to live my life normally. But it’s too hard. Sometimes in the morning, I woke up with tears. What a blank life without you, father, I think. When I was on the way to anywhere, I remembered him. When I was waiting for my brother to pick me up in the bus stop, I remembered how he used to phone me every night based on my campus schedule, and waited me patiently not less then 15 minutes from my coming.
When I ride my motorbike zig-zag due to avoid the stones, I’ll remember the time when we pushed him to move his body so it won’t be stiff. He had been on his sofa for months. So riding me to the bus stop will be one of the exercise to his body movement. He tried his best. To ride the motorbike as good as possible because he did it like he could do it for days. It feared me, actually. He tried his best. To never care what people might think when they saw his skin condition.
And now I try my best. To never let my tears down in between my laughs among people I socialise with. To speak normally like I fully accept my father’s gone. To stop crying when every time to see his pictures on my phone. And to welcome my future without him.
Hello, Bloggie?
Ahh.. Long time no type, eh? I'm not that busy as I used to be in my first semester of campus life. But my laziness to type in here is raising to a new level. This second semester is not that tight. I can breath with no hard brick in my mind thinking that deadly assignments. Lols. I smile and even laugh a lot. Haha..
So what makes me sincerely spend my leisure, sit in front of this laptop typing other than my assignments and materials preparing for teaching? There is something in my mind. Something I can't tell anyone who actually will be a great adviser if I could find the right one. It is something I myself can't understand why there is such a condition like this one. It enthusiasts me to think that it will be a long writing because I can finally find the right rubbish to be a shoulder to cry on. Silly me I still can't explain it fully because I worry. I worry if will be read by people who will recognise me. Although it is impossible like one in a thousand stars in the sky. Lol. But I still want to make it as a memory worthy. So I can recollect it some times later. Hopefully these keywords will be success to remain me what it is about.
I can't. At least I need to write about this girl with a cute name completely
She is only one year younger than me. She came after more ore less four months of my coming. Teaching is so new for her but she did it passionately. From how mature she presented herself can lower your self-confident. At least it happened to me. She speaks organized words with a level of politeness from a person you think has graduated from a personality training. She is a humble girl with the sweetest smile I ever see. Her body language is so gentle. She has no acne and her skin is so fair!
In my sight, the only minus she has is she is fatter than me
She is a straight minded person. A very 'straight', actually. Till the level she thinks a wrong regulation in an institution is unacceptable. Hey! Ins-ti-tu-tion. Institution! A place where your level is just two levels higher than the lowest one. Her insights tell her to fix the system maybe. Something considered as a fatal mistake for the people in authority.
She is fired unilaterally
I lost a new friend. A new good friend.
This short review about her is only an opening which will lead my mind later to think why is she fired? What is wrong regulation she wants to straight? Why is she alone? Why is she unaccepted?
This short review about her is only an opening which will lead my mind later to think why is she fired? What is wrong regulation she wants to straight? Why is she alone? Why is she unaccepted?
She is alone. She is bullied. She is unaccepted.

I become happier this semester in my school. Some of my favourite classes have come back from their field industrial practice. Now I can see their ridiculous joking but strangely make my day. They grumble for the assignments I give but keep finishing them in a very good way. They respect me in a sweet manner a young teacher always wishes
Enough! Back to the topic. I miss you, Sissy.. It's something you've waited for so long. As well as us. Now you have your own family, in which now you are not a princess but a queen. You manage everything and parents' allowance and forbidden is not your priority anymore. And the biggest change is you move into your own home. Not in here, our home. Our; I and them exclude you :(
Everything is changing. This home is kinda quiet since you move. Except the fact that now the duty you used to do is being mine; do the laundry. This house is much different now. The atmosphere. The nagging we do in every morning just because you are so lelet while I am Miss On-Time. Argued for something trivial even fought because of that. But 30 minutes later we talk like nothing happen just because both of us focus on the same thing; the news about celebrity who get endorsement from her illness. Lol. And afternoon meatball time. Even when we try to repeat those whole things. Everything will be not the same.
January 9th 2015 was the date. Akad Nikah was held one day before on Friday. And the ceremony was on Saturday. I could not manage time to snap many photos. What else? It's we pay a photographer for. Lols. But there was another crucial reason actually. I was on a multiple function on that day. As the bride's sister and... servant -,-
The ceremony on Saturday was held in fully Simalungun ethnically way which I can't mention in order one by one and explain the philosophy behind it. Can't wait to get the photos so I can show you all how it will look. So pretty.. People from the both side of couple wore clothes in bright color. Especially our family side. As Bataknese we wear Ulos in any important occasion.
But, how long was I allowed to stand gracefully in my pink gown and heels with 7 cm in height? Not more than 1 hour! And the 6 hours ahead I had to throw my heel and replace it with the comfortable robber flat sandal. Need comfy sandal to walk all day long till the afternoon to check the people we ask to manage the foods for guests in the big kitchen and... everything. My parents are the main casts on that day. Can't be disturbed! And my face is the only one people recognise as the Main Family Member; who has the responsibility to be asked where's the rendang, need money to buy this and that, new guests didn't get enough space to sit and collect the dirty plates. It's wedding ceremony not party. It's held in our home.
Kita orang kampoong tak lah pala sewa-sewa gedung kan. Mahal! Haha.
The guests were so crowded. Happy to know people fulfil our invitation and so hectic and tired at once. No matter what, the life after the ceremony is the most important thing to think about. Enough I think. I have to return to my material for tomorrow before I transform my self into a young lady with 59-years-old-thought who knows nothing but advice something great theoretically but zero practically. Sok-sok bijak, gitu lah.

I think I'm not truly a kind of someone could be categorized as a true friend, for some of my friends. Even they are my closest ones. I don't know why this feeling is being bigger as the time flies. To make me as the righteous, I'll let my self to think that my friends started it from the first place. They show those attitudes so it's not my mistake to give the same as reward.
To make it simpler, one of them consider me as her rival. She blatantly shows this rivalry atmosphere between us last year. It's about a test to get a job. We applied to different companies! But it had the same regulations. Even information which can help your friend, which won't give you any bad effect, could be really hard to be done. Just because you think it's a competition. Who got job the first was the best, was the winner.
And this year it's happened again. Sadly I'm the one who had been announced for being failed. And she didn't. I mean not yet. *look how evil my mind is*. Just thinking she will pass the test (though her success in the test never give a single piece of reason in my failure) made my heart like boiling water in a sealed pan. Just like what my bro ever said jokingly, "which one is sadder? Look at your friend in trouble or she is luckier than you?" Lol..
Am I that bad?
No lah! I still have some friends I care of with the whole heart of mine. I congratulate them sincerely from the deepest of my heart. I support them in every decision they make and advise them with utterances which I produced by being a big wise thinker. Even if I know their success will be greater than I can achieve. Because they are not only friends for me but the Best ones of mine.
Our beloved Prophet said that enough in the case of money is, when you can fulfill your needs from the sun rises till it sets, from the money you earn from that one day. But I want more. I want beautiful.dresses to wear. I tempt nice bags and delicious foods. Am I that sinner? Am I so?
Mommy said to me, I should not look at my self only. Look at the people who are being lower than me. Actually it's about the civil servant entrance exam in which I was failed at. My friend, a good friend of mine, passed the test and she will leave for a brand new life. Brand new future in her hometown where she will settle in a very good job. I envy! I'm happy for her. And precisely my happiness will be greater if I WERE in the same position as her. As the chosen.
I tried so hard to block my mind from thinking if only those 4 people who pass the exam unpredictably forget to check the website where it was officially announced or something (not till the point they got hurt) happened so the people under their names in the list up to replace them. What a f¥¥k!!! Shame on me!
This week will be one of the happiest moment for my parents. Our eldest sister will get married. Something they had waited patiently for long time. It will be the first wedding in our family. How my dad had tried his best to be healthy from being hospitalized two times in 2014. Just to welcome his daughter's dream comes true. I just think if I passed the test, my parents' happiness will be multiple.
I am a wise girl to friends in trouble. I advised them with care and sincere. I uttered the best words my brain can produce to make them sure if everything will be okay in the end. Like anon said, if it's not okay, it's not the end. But why are those pretty phrases not applicable to me? To my mind, exactly.
I know I'm foolish. I have a typical South East Asian girl eye size, kinda big eyes. But I can't see what a blissful life I have. Now I have an excuse to be more pathetic: I need a mirror to look at my self. And the mirror doesn't exist.
I do not want to be cursed. I want to reflect my self to others:
~ There are still some friends, some people I know, still can not earn money on their own. While I can! It's not a big amount of money I earn monthly but I rarely ask mommy just to fulfill my side needs.
~ Too many people are getting too many problems with their education. I can climb to higher level and some issues spread that started this year, postgraduate will be more 4 years to finish. I felt kinda late to apply to my postgraduate due to the higher cost fee than last year. But thinking the 4 years I will have to go through if I am late another one year kinda entertain me. But can I nag last once more (for this paragraph only), if I applied one year faster, I had been in the third semester and the cost is cheaper. *got kicked by Mt. Fuji*
~ My family is completely happy. Problems love us. But problems love everyone on this planet called Earth. They knocked every door and impolitely enter your life. Alhamdulillah, thanks God. He had kept us hundreds solutions for each problem. Just we can find them rightly or not. Every problem are solvable. It's only our decision to break it or just let it stay still.
~ I love my students. Do you know this feeling? Kids (they are teenagers, actually) from nowhere whom you acquainted with in a place called school. You and them introduced yourselves alternately. And the time flies. You realized how you hope the best come to each student you teach.
What I'm sad for? It's not shaming to say my self is a religious person. I believe in God has setted up the best future for me. For my family.
The last day of 2014, eh? (I hope so. Since I usually just draft my blogpost then publish it another days, or weeks. Ever months 👎)
I regret myself no be able to manage time to blog like I used to. I realised I've lost so many important memories which should be kept in this blog. Everything 'first time'.
So many 'first time' memories which actually can be written if only I'm not that lazy, or if I'm a little bit diligent, my body was tired so badly.
My first time face the students in a class, how to get their attention. Like, "hey, there is someone standing in front of your class. It's me, your NEW teacher".
My first time in Independence Day ceremony, joining other teachers standing in teachers' standing spot, in KORPRI batik shirt.
My first salary!! How I was proud giving my first salary to my parents. It's a small amount of money, though.
My first Teacher's Day as a teacher not a student. I used to greet my teacher with Happy Teacher's Day but now I got it from my students. Even they were jokingly ask what present I want on that day 💑
I got a cute present! A purple food carrier from my student, a boy. I'm teaching in a vocational school. Most of the students are boys which I and You have known the students are so much "different" from common senior high school 🐰
But I really feel blessed for the chance to know my students. I am their teacher but slowly but sure I did learnt so many things from them. From the simplest thing, learn not to be an ego-centric teacher. I have to understand them that they do not study on my subject only. I learn how to control my emotion and try my best to motivate them. I even had learnt that I have to imitate how to talk with a toddler when I was with my girl students ⛄they are so sensitive. I am young. I don't want to be considered as their rival.
Next week is the new semester. I promise myself I will force my soul to blog regularly. Even it was only 5 months more or less but I can not recall the whole things had happened 🐷 it's truly a sin!
Next week is the new semester. I promise myself I will force my soul to blog regularly. Even it was only 5 months more or less but I can not recall the whole things had happened 🐷 it's truly a sin!
I really, really rarely re-post something from another sources but this time is an exception. Because what? It's so touching!
A picture can speak a thousand words, such as photographs taken by a pair of these grandparents. Every season change, their picture taken with the same pose, in front of their home as a memento of their love journey.
From the photos below you can see a touching love story, a love story that is filled with happiness, hope, loyalty, and sometimes filled with the grief and loss.

Can you imagine what the grandpa feels?
Baghban
I watched Baghban this afternoon with my mommy and the undying love in their 40th marriage age between the husband and wife, Raj Malhotra and Pooja, reminded me of another elderly couple I met in random mini bus.
The mini bus was filled with passengers so that it's impossible for them to sit in the same row. The wife should sit in the back seat while the husband, in the front seat next to the driver.
The husband looked kinda sad though they would be separated for only some minutes. And the radiant love naturally shown by their eyes warm my heart.
I Never Be a Fan
Too many people admire a bunch of people with certain abilities and talents what they called idols nowadays. They are very fond of what their idols did, follow what they wear and make it a trend. They kinda faith, too.
I myself sometimes like them; some people with certain talents. But I'd rather use 'favourite' instead of 'idolize'. I follow news about them but it doesn't bother my emotion. They are happy, I felt it's nice to see others' happiness. They stricken by some big problems, oh, hopefully they can solve them. They made hits, I think the hard efforts were worth it. If they were failed, I think they should practice more.
Even it's not because I 'favourite' them but it's just a humanity. Same feeling I gave to common people around me. And never hope I'll be as faith as those fans. Because I won't.
Korean Beauty
One private TV channel in my country rebroadcast Jewel In The Palace for its 10 years commemoration. It's my forever-favourite saeguk drama beside The Great Queen Seon Dok. Now I realized almost 97% of the casts inJewel were women.
Pretty women exactly. Much different from Korean women nowadays, the women in Jewel, with their ten-years-ago face had the natural beauty, in my sight.
Yellowish-white skin tone, different face and its parts shape, and of course there was absolutely no resemblance among them.
Fantasy
When something I wish doesn't gonna happen to be real, I fly my mind to create a happiest moment where everything I dream of to be lived perfectly. No dark shadow, no frustrate, no tears.
Black and gray are going to be eliminated. Bright colors are enough.
Miscommunication
It's not a bipolar. When I canged to be a rude one in a sudden to someone, though I've become a cheerfully smiled to another one before. It's only because there's a feeling held in my heart for a long time that now becomes a solid hatred.
You are not misbehave, just sometimes, no no. So often your ignorance to so many things happen in this family made me kinda hate you.
No hating actually. I just don't feel a comfort to be siblings. Can you change that? Stop this miscommunicatioan between two of us.
As I know you love me, so I can learn to love you more.
Start Over
It's not easy to start over. It's a test well known for people dare to bribe huge amount of money to pass. Though they, my closest people, ridiculed my principle: it's enough for me to study and pray. I keep being on my own.
I've imagined what I will do if I pass the whole test phases, but it's the truth. I'm failed. I try my best to accept the fact that it's impossible if the whole candidates been accepted. It's my dream. One of my biggest dreams. Once failed made me became spiritless compared to my first test which was full of spirit. That first one who rejected my existence to be a part of them.
Please, support me..
If You Need...
There's a friend of mine who kinda piss me off. She won't reply my text if we were in a 'competition' moment. She considered me as her competitor, maybe.
Ever I asked her if she knew about something I need, she replied yes. But when I asked what it was, she gave no reply.
So I lured her with something she need and she dodged that she had replied my text but it had been waiting to be sent by the operator.
And now, I know such an important info she needs. But a silence treatment is good, I think.
Back When I was a Baby
This afternoon, came two women who used to be my teachers in kindergarten. I don't remember them anymore, though. They came here to invite my parents to one of the teacher's daughter's wedding. It's the first time after years they meet again with my mom, so my mother asked them to come into home to have some little chats. And the flashback starts.
One of the teachers recalled what a 'naughty' little girl I was in the class. My parents and relatives who saw me grow up said the same things, too. But one thing they remembered the most was an incident in baby daycare where the parents in the estates housing entrusted their children in when they were working.
My mom retailed:
When my mother came to the daycare to pick me up, the nanny innocently told her that she was confused why I cried. When my mother saw my condition, she was shocked for what she saw. I sobbed and there were many bite marks in my body. And it's predicted I'd cried for hours.
The nanny asked my mother to resolve it amicably but she firmly refused that. She instead asked my father to complain the problem to the supervisor to discharge the nanny. And it's true. According to my mother, the nanny never back to work in the daycare until her retirement.
“The most important thing in life is your family. There are days you love them, and others you don't. But, in the end, they're the people you always come home to. Sometimes it's the family you're born into and sometimes it's the one you make for yourself.” -- Cariie Bergen
Think about Balam have realized me about what a perfect place I've been living in. Our current home is situated in a really quiet neighborhood. It's away from the highway so we never be bothered by the noises from the passing vehicles. There are also very nice mutual respect neighbors. We get the traditional market just on foot.
It only takes 15 minutes to the beach (Pantai Cermin) and more or less 4 hours to the mountain (Mt. Sinabung). That means we do not need to worry about the fulfillment of seafoods, fruits and veggies needs. Now, it only takes 30 minutes to the airport (Kuala Namu International Airport). And only needs no later than 1,5 hours to Medan (to college, malls or shopping center).
Actually 'far' in Balam is just a distance matter. The company provides good facilities, though. About the electricity, it's not something which will happen permanently. Like people say, everything needs process and the powerhouse construction includes that story. I hear the children of labors and employees there are exempted from school fees but the schools are still under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, so do not have to worry about the certificate status. There are also shuttle buses which fulfill the transportation needs for everyone, related to school or work.
Being a teacher, regardless of its responsibility to educate, is the happiest profession among others. Good paying (please don't compare with the crazy amount of money a director makes!), long holidays as the students get, no under pressure work and with very short working hours. Moreover, I hear an issue that company held annual company trip to some places which if I have to use my own money to go to, I will not think anything and decide to just stay at home. haha.

I've downloaded some hidden object games like Cruel Games - Red Riding Hood, Les Miserables - Cosette's Fate, Otherworld: Spring of Shadows, Chronicles of Albian 2: The Wizbury School of Magic, Campfire Legends - The Last Act, Phantasmat, Shadow Wolf Mysteries 3- Cursed Wedding, The Fog, The Tiny Bang Story, Stray Souls - Dollhouse Story, Snark Busters 2 - All Revved Up. I save them savely in my Games folder happily to bring to accompany me in Balam. I smiled every each of the beautiful yet creepy games' installment was success. I will also bring so many DVDs to play in my laptop.
I'm so ready!!
I told my parents I will try to begin a brand new life in Balam. They told me not to worry about the water and food-needs problems. There must be some people whom can be paid to bring us that water. About the food-needs, it's impossible if there is no veggies seller selling around the housing. So I don't need to go to the market which opens only several days a week. The family there looked like buying their food-needs for a week suplies since the market is.. so far. Ugh!
Moreover my parents added they will give me a visit regularly for sure.To give me more spirits, daddy came to his office where he used to work (he is a pensioner of one of a state-owned enterprises which run the cacao plantation) to get his monthly salary slip, in order to give me an explanation how lucky I am, do not need to start from the lowest level like most people did.
There, I don't need to rent a house since it is provided by the company. Electricity is a luxury but it's free. There's no cost for public transportation because the school where I will teach is near my designate house. It means I can save more money.

My mother has prepared everything she knows I will need. Kitchen equipments, eating utensils, bathroom fixtures to my clothing needs; for washing and ironing. Everything! Even she has prepared the cleaning tools for the house, inside and yard.
It has been more than one year I bear this jobless status. I took the test to be a civil servant in three ministries this year, but none I could pass. Classic reason: too many participants, too few formations, too high passing grade. Duh! But it's like I triplicated three years exams within one year. I mean, so many people could only participate into one exam in one year. And I think this first entrance exam to be PNS of mine is the best compared to the ones of previous several years. I can check the people's scores who passed the test via online, so although there is still any possibility of bribery activity, at least I could see with my own eyes that those peoples' scores could prove me they deserved the passing.
Just flashback to the first exam I took in Foreign Ministry which took place in Jakarta. That's the first time for me to go there. As a suburban girl, I was amazed how that city surrounded by so many very tall buildings beautifully, the malls which I never see before, Jakarta's well known traffic jam, and of course the socialites' life style which kinda lowered my self-esteem. hee. I imagined how if I passed the test and moved to stay there. Undergoing the 7 months training at the education center of Foreign Ministry, before being inducted into legitimate civil servant. But maybe I have no any destiny to work in there. hahhh.
Continued to the second and the last exam which I took in The Ministry of Fishery and Marine and The Transportation Ministry. I changed my imagination from working in Jakarta to working in Belawan, in a port area where I will see the activities of the massive good transporting ships from domestic and foreign. Will play in the beach in the afternoon and it means no worry about crabs and prawns starving. And watching the fishermen go to and return from the sea, separating the fish from the net, are something I always experience happily.
But one week before the official announcement of the exam result, Noni texted me that there was an offer to work as a teacher in a school which is under the auspices of the biggest company of food products producer in this country, which has its branch in Balam, a sub-district (maybe) in Riau. (I don't know if there is other food products producer which is bigger than that one). Very seductive! The salary is higher than being civil servant in basic level for a strata one.
So Noni asked me to go to Balam to give a visit back to her friend who ever visited her with his family, and ushered my files at once. We took the night bus, left at 10 pm and arrived there at 6 in the morning. Got off the bus, I still felt 'normal'. But when Noni's friend and his brother came to picked us up, I started to know what a place I would stay in.
It's an oil palm plantation, a huge one I mean, where it took 20 minutes to reach their home. (And if it has been fixed, I will live in there too). 20 minutes from the highway by riding a motorbike with high speed, according to me is far! And when I saw the environment, a place where it looked like there's no life! Too quiet! I'm shocked. Immediately I thought, for what sake I earn much money if I had to live in this place? But I tried my best to control my feeling because we were being guest in a house where there are 9 family members, so I had to give my best smile.
In the first night, I felt worry about the possibility I will move into there. But in the second night, when I watched a movie which some of its conversations told: we will not know if something is good for us or not, before we go through it. I start to think do not be only because of the momentary feeling, I lost a big chance which so many people do not need to think even once to grab.
We stayed there for 2 nights and when went home, I told my parents that there was a big possibility I would be accepted. But I cried and explained how the place was. No network coverage for hi-tech cell phones. Water came once in 2 days and the electricity was only active between 6 am to 11 pm. I also said that I saw people brought big jerrycan contained water with their motorbikes which I was sure for drink. I nagged how can I do that? I also did not see any market so how will I buy my food needs?
My father calmed me down and told me to make a decision which I myself was being the main reason; it's not a decision which I took parents as the reason. Then I said that I will try first before shouting I give up. But you need to know what I feel, I said. My mother started to cry and told me that before I expressed my feeling, as a couple with my father who started their life from zero in a plantation too, she had known how the place I will live in was like, and was worry whether I could live in a place like that.
So I ensured my parents, I will try!!
There are 5 simple ways to catch my attention:
Sincere Smile
I will guess people are giving me a sincere smile or just-only one. For me, a sincere smile is smiling with your eyes. Not something that you do with just lift one of your lip corners and left the other still in its place. Keep it for several seconds and face-to-my face till you end your smile.
Good Speaker
I am kinda shy when meet new people. That's why I will really thank if those new people are good speakers, so they will be the ones that start the conversation. I am a good listener but hating to be asked so many questions in adjacent time. I also really get pissed off by the same questions been asked more than twice. But, ask me to listen to the your whole story only without asking if I have any opinion is more annoying.
Keep Your Promises
To be honest, I'm a forever-kid. Don't you ever try to say any promise to me. I can't hear a promise. I will take it seriously and never forget to request you to make your promise to be a realization. Lol.
Good Foods
Haiya. I love to eat so much. I had said this several times, I can enjoy foods though they are not tasty at all. How can I resist if you give me so yummy foods?
Cute Stuffs
I smile every time I see cute stuffs. Feel the happiness when touch them. I can't bear to ignore them. I'll fly if you give them to me. You are a pro if you give them to me in pink.
I think I will stop this 30 days blogging challenge but I'm sure I still have the chance to finish it. hehe. The topic for today is with whom we want to have some dinners includes the menus. I'll also choose the people (randomly) from other countries (some of whom are popular people) with the menus which instead of being favorite meals, they are something I can only see the pictures from Google. But at least I ever heard about the foods from some dramas. hehe.
Bondan Winarno
He is the one who pioneered a very well known culinary tour community in Indonesia. Every food no matter how we imagine it will taste, will look so delicious if it is eaten by him. Moreover if he uttered his characteristically expression "Pokoke maknyus!". Hmm.. He can influence people to think they should open their door and go anywhere to find those foods. Lol. I want to ask him to have this as our dinner:
Mie Rebus Medan and orange juice. Yes, I'm a roadside food lover. About this one, I can explain the food in detail. It's one of my forever-favorite cuisine. Mie Rebus Medan is a stick noodles (the white one) served with the thick sauce made of shrimps, palm sugar, galangal, lemongrass, onions and garlics, bay leaves, and other unsayable seasonings. With boiled potatoes and egg, fried tofu and traditional red-and-white crackers and hot water-dipped bean sprouts as the complement. Add cayenne paste to balance the sauce sweetness and sprinkle with fried onions and celery. Orange juice is just the best partner to me.
Mario Maurer
Thailand's signature cuisine Tom Yum and iced watermelon drink (Nam Dang-Mu Pan) as the drink. I prefer the Tom Yum with rice of course.
Lee Min Ho
Bulgogi with rice and mineral water is enough I think. As South Korea is very well known for its Soju.
My friend, Fani
Fani is so into Italian foods. And the easiest way to find the Halal one in Medan is Pizza Hut for sure. I'll choose black pepper fettuccine for me and lasagna for her. For the drink, she rarely sees the drinks on the list. She will ask if there is any avocado drink or not and she will order it. And I will order Blue Ocean.
My Cousin, Noni
She my best cousin and best partner in enjoying foods in Es Teler 77. Baso super spesial jumbo (special super jumbo meatballs) for me and Mie ayam bakso (meatballs chicken noodles) for her. For the drink, we never turn from the Es Teler.
Everyday I always have some blogs to be my reading. I read some of them because I need the informations they serve, I read some because they are my friends in real life; they are my college friends, I also read some because I love to do so. It can be their writing style which interests me to bookmark their blogs or their stories are indeed lovable to read. Sometimes I learn a lot by reading their blogs. Some of them are successfully amazed me and make me desire to build my own blog.
Here my five favorite blogs in sequence alphabetically:
I super love Ce Vania's blog. It suits her blog title, her blog is about the delicious foods and their recipes and her cute family's adventure to visit various places in this country. She writes in English so well, like a native. She is so smart in arranging the words and make the sentences building a full blogpost chronologically. Her photography skill is like a pro. Every places can be an adventure for their family. Even they can snatch memorable moments from a traditional market, museums, any festivals and train station. She can make no matter what food it is, looks so yummy. A muddy traditional market can be looked an artsy photo by her hand. I follow her blog and enjoy her family's story. Since they got their first daughter, the second son, and now the children are in their pre-teens age. I follow their stories when they moved to stay in India, Malaysia and now they are in Indonesia. I am a fan!

Hey. He is the organizer of the 30 days blogging challenge. He's a Tiong Hoa blogger but so nationalist in my sight. I mean, the race issue is very sensitive case in this country. He is not too biased to any ethnicity. His writing can make me like looking directly what happen in his writing. He makes them in a very detailed way. He is so friendly to reply any comment in his posts and answer the questions not in a to-taste way. He even gave a patient answer when someone left, according to me, something inappropriate questionable. And now I like to follow his journey of studying in China.
She is a Malaysian blogger. I love to read her adventures of visiting various countries around the world and her writing skill to retail what had happened within her travels are very interesting. She is fashion blogger, too, I think. She has a unique taste in fashion, like her hair.
They are two blogs actually. Written by Dee for Kutudrama and Fanny for Kdramatized. They are partner in crime to write the full synopsis of Korean dramas. I am sure they are good at English, that's why their writings are very comfortable readable since the online-watching K-dramas give English subtitle.
I know it is a site but please let me put it in my list. This site will serve you everything you need to know about Illuminati, in deep analysis and include supporting theories. No one is missed from VC's observations: movies, ads, musics and their clips, fashions, social phenomenon, and even any policy by the government of a particular country. My favorite segment is the Symbolic Pic of The Month, where the author (s) collect pictures from any publication papers like magazines or something like that, and give the analysis about those photos.
I still have another good blogs to read but they are my top five. Do enjoy those links I've attached.
Finally I can continue the 30 days blogging challenge by Emotional Flutter. One week stayed in my granny's home, I had completely lost contact with my blog. I brought my modem so I could make some posts with Noni's notebook but I didn't know how to do the setting as the signal was found but the operator was not.
The topic for this day-15 is what super power I wish to have and how I will use it. Ouch, what an imaginative person Ko Keven is. Lol. I love being a 'normal' human being like bleeding when got cut with knife and wait several days to heal and need some transportations to reach some places. Lol.
But to be honest back when I was a kid, I ever dreamt to have a magic pencil like what Sanju owned in Shaka Laka Boom Boom. I wished I could make the delicious beef balls and noodle soup just by drawing them on a piece of paper and taa-daa they would be real.
And now, if only I could ask to have some super powers, I will not ask to be given flying ability since there are already too many cameras nowadays. People can snap me flying at any time and I don't want to be the center of attention and make people assume I was one of those extraterrestrials what people called alien. I am also not very interested in the ability of disappear in one wink. That's too implausible and really not human being. Lol.
Sometimes I felt someone acted too polite or told too sweet words to me. Those exaggerated actions kinda made me gave them negative thinking. Was I that good? What they really wanted to convey? What they want to get from me? Was that because their relationship with my parents? and something like that. And it's also not rare I found people with sharp as knife tongue who actually had so sweet hearts. That's why I think it will be a wonderful gift if I could be a mind reader. haha. You can't lie to me! I can read your mind.
That will be really great, right? I can know what the backstabbers want to do to me so I will be able to reverse the situation. Those too sweet words, I can find what the true purpose is the speaker utter them. Besides that, there is no special sign which will make people know I have a super power as long as I don't make it as a gossip subject. Lol. But living this life just the way it is, without adding some forced things, is the best way a human can do. According to me...
Hmmmm.. I don't know how to convey my thought about the topic for this Day-14 of 30 days blogging challenge by Emotional Flutter. I'm not a successor of Nostradamus since I never believe in any prophecy. I always avoid praying in any social media, no matter what its occasion. So, let me use this post as another words assembling exercise. haha.
Proper Job
- I will have a settled job with so good salary,
- With 'not dictator' boss, willing to listen to his/her employee's opinions,
- Cooperate with responsible and patient people since I am someone with learning difficulty, in a very healthy work environment,
- With no restrictions on religious activities,
- No prohibition of dating among the co-workers,
- Free outing once every six months. Lol
Good Living
- Live in a healthy and lovely environment,
- Meet so many kind hearted with good attitude people,
- Nice home with large yard where there are a beautiful garden and a private swimming pool,
- Facilitated with hi-tech household appliances, so I can say goodbye to broom and mop.
- Friends with very friendly girls,
- Meet a man with higher level of faith, having almost perfect subsistence, loving and patient, and of course young and single. haha.
There is no any big change I can make in the period of this 2 years. The most substantial of course I could finish my S1 belonging timely. But it is less able to be recognized as a success because until now, I have not found a place that would accept my service in commensurate exchange called a salary.
Maybe I'm too picky. S1 turns out to be an unwritten rule, which I claim myself to be able to get a job that most people called "decent job" for S1. Though there is still no provision for what categories to show a decent profession for S1 too for sure, right? There are, anyway. The dogma from our community! And I've already swallowed it, so be patient with the opportunity to get what is called a proper job is the only thing I can do. Do not want to be a hypocrite as well. I did very little effort.
In this two years, I also began to understand as the name: the treatments that we give to other people, have a major influence on any outcome that we receive from any intention we want to do. So I started to learn to control the nature of my easily angry. Yes, despite good intentions certainly be an easy target for the devil to ruin. haha. Every time it came for me to do some good intentions, there's always temptation that made me really hard for restrain anger.
Patient.. Patient..
It's my biggest target.
My house is not that far to a beach. But, to be honest I never see the blue colored water sea which allows me to see the sand through the clear water
. I never go travelling to some place where I will find that kind of landscape. I still love you, Lestari Indah, by the way. hehe. So, here some places I wish to visit someday.
Note: images are from Google
Dari Sabang sampai Merauke, itu lah Indonesia...
From Sabang to Merauke, that is Indonesia...
Sabang
Beside the beautiful beaches, the other reason why I wish to visit Sabang is to see Indonesia's Monument of Zero Kilometre which is the starting point to measure the width of our beloved country. Sabang is a city located in Weh island.
Raja Ampat
Raja Ampat means Four Kings. It's not easy to come to this island, beside preparing a huge amount of money, you must be an educated person to be able to enjoy this heaven on earth. That's according to Sapta Norwandar, Indonesia's Deputy Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy.
The efforts to maintain its sustainability is by restricting the diving activities in Raja Ampat. The reason, the temperature released by the diver's body is feared could damage the coral reefs. That's why Sapta Norwandar told that it must be the qualified and educated people visiting Raja Ampat, so they can understand how to behave, not damage the coral reefs. Source.

What a random post! This is the result if an amateur must explain something she never see with her own eyes. No matter what, I have filled the Day-10 homework for 30 days blogging challenge. Lol.
