Ahhh.. Just flashback when I was a senior high school girl, this movie was so booming. Every teenagers felt so proud when they could tell their friends that the movie had been listed into their 'movie lists'. I never watch it in the movie, though. It's far in Medan. But it's okay.. One year later it was aired on TV 
. And it's aired many times. Over and over again. Till I've finished watching it 1 hour ago on one of our private TV channels.It's about a love triangle story among three teens Rachel, Farrel and Luna. Rachel was a boyish girl. She always put casual look on; T-shirt or sweater and army style long pants as its match. She had been best friend with Farrel, a handsome charming boy. Farrel had a good sense of humour though kinda childish; seemed from his hobby of reading comics. Since kids, they had played together even they two had their private basketball court with a tree house nearby. One day, Rachel carve something secretly on the tree where their tree house attached on which she wouldn't ever allow Farrel to see it. Just wait till everything could be revealed thoroughly.
One day, when Farrell was about to buy his favorite comic books, Shinchan, the bookstore owner offered him a book that he said it was funny, entitled Heart. Farrell initially refused, but when he saw a glimpse of the author of the comic was a beautiful girl, he immediately bought the comic book and then pursuit the author and became acquainted with her. The author named Luna. Luna was a very beautiful and feminine girl. With a black long hair and a pair of beautiful earrings adorned her face. Farrell did not forget to ask for an autograph, phone number and home address.
At that moment, Farrell realized that he had fallen in love at first sight with Luna and then told his best best friend, Rachel. Farrell asked Rachel to help him to make Luna to be his girlfriend. Initially it was fine for Rachel , but Rachel began to feel a feeling she had never feel before. Jealousy. Rachel was jealous of the closeness between Farrel and Luna, then began to change her appearance little by little, As a starter, she started wearing earrings. It was not only that, she also lied to Farrell by saying that she already had a boyfriend, the type of her dream.
Soon, Farrell expressed his love for Luna by bringing something in a big heart shaped to confess his feeling to her. But it had been a deal between him and Rachel. If Luna kept the heart, then that means Luna received his love, but if Luna broke it, it meant she refused Farrel. And if Farrell was rejected by Luna, Rachel was allowed to hit Farrel to death with her car. There was something made Luna hesitated to accept Farrel's confession. Luna then gave a heartbreaking to Farrel. In a flash Rachel chased Farrell , trying to hit him, but Farrell had escaped .
Farrell came out on the lake with Luna. Luna began to tell him the reason why she refused Farrel. Luna was fighting with Cirrhosis,a disease hardening of the liver. For Luna, she realized that her life would not be much longer, that's what made her hesitate to accept Farrel's love, when in fact Luna also loved him. Farrell then entertained her, trying to convince Luna that his love for her was sincere, till forever. Farrell instead of giving up but even more motivated to get love of Luna.
Rachel began to notice her difference with Luna, Luna was feminine and love wearing skirts and dresses , while she was always wearing casual clothes. She thought that the differences which make Farrel interested in Luna. Farrell then began to realize and see the changes when Rachel wore a dress that should be given to Luna and dressed up like a woman should be, Farrel just laugh at her. Rachel then leave him raced toward their tree house, where they usually playing basketball together. Rachel got greater jealousy when she learnt that Farrel had prepared a ring for Luna . That's when Rachel began to show his tears to Farrel. Adding to the story that she had just lost the person she loved because he went away with another girl . Farrel calmed her down telling that they would still be best friends forever .
On another day, Farrell was with Luna in a park. Rachel saw them from a far and found Farrel kissing Luna, destroying her heart completely and make her run aimlessly. Which Rachel did not know was, that when kissing, Luna spewed blood from her mouth, and had to be hospitalized immediately. Rachel ran aimlessly around the mountain slopes and falling towards the ravine. She also sent to the same hospital as Luna. Rachel had to find the bitter truth that her legs had to be amputated because it could endanger her life.
Everyday Farrel came to see Luna and Rachel at hospital, but Rachel realized that he only gave her some visit occasionally and more often visited Luna. Rachel became increasingly angry at Farrell, but Farrell and Rachel realized that Luna was seriously ill and really need a heart donor in order to survive. Luna's father, Adam and Farrel were trying to find a donor but not manage to get it. While Luna's time was getting thinner and Luna was approaching death.
Turned out Rachel donated her heart to Luna, not to save her live whom she hated for stealing her Farrell, but she hoped she could continue to live in Luna's body to keep be able to think about and love Farrell to death. Rachel also left a message for Farrell to see their tree house, the place where young Rachel ever carved something in the beginning of the film.
Farrell, who had been married to Luna and has a son, go to where they used to play basketball and climb up the tree. Therein Farrell realized that Rachel ever carved "Rachel and Farrel" in a heart shaped frame, and he also realized how Rachel loved him since they were kids.
What a great movie!! Let me rate it 5 of 5 stars. I love it so much!! This is the first film can give me the perfect mixed feelings of sorry, sad, angered, hatred, hopes and amused at once.What The Blacks have on their mind when they watch this? I curious at that stuff so much. I'm a person who strongly opposed any act of slavery. When I watched Django, "How could they do that cruel things? Is that really ever happened to the Blacks?" popped up in my mind and then my logic came back from nowhere. Those scenes had been selected from the real more sadistic happenings ever happened. That's true! No offense to any race, though.
The black comedy, wise words chosen, the characters' epic expressions and tones, how the director could create the perfect combination? Seriously, I felt my heart cut by the grief moments and suddenly there was a laughter from their jokes.

The title itself explained what's the main thing from this movie. It's about freedom. Django walking chained with other men who were the sold off slaves, stopped by a Germany man wanted to buy one of the slaves. He was Schultz, a dentist and bounty hunter. The masters were too arrogant made Schultz shoot them and freed Django as he knew the three wanted men he hunted. Since that, his name changed to be Django Freeman.
Django was the first man Schultz ever freed. That's why he felt responsible to help Django: help him to find his wife, Broomhilda. They started their duo bounty hunter partnership by killing one by one the wanted men Schultz hunted. Their hunting led them to the information who owned Broomhilda. He was Calvin Candie, the charming but brutal owner of plantation called Candyland. In Candyland, the slaves were forced to fight to the death to entertain their master, Candie. The fight called Mandingo.
It's not as easy as they thought to have a deal with Candie. His pride was above everything. Knowing the duo bounty hunters lied him just to free Broomhilda, made him wrath which finally sent him to the grave as well as Schultz.

Ugh! The Mandingo fight was the hardest scene to see. What other? When one slave named D'artagnan tried to escape from the plantation since he couldn't stand the Mandingo fight, caused Candie fed him to some wild dogs alive. I couldn't stand those scenes, Mr. Director Quentin Tarantino.
I was slightly bothered and shocked by the braveness of those some frontal lines, when Candie showed the cranium of his Black slave who took care his father and grandfather, and told that there were three points in the cranium showed the tissue of compliance nature, which there's no any other race in the world who had it bigger than the Blacks'.
Schultz's ridiculous behaviour even though constantly vigilant reminded me to Jack Sparrow so much. His funny mimics and conversations made me love him. TeeHee. And I felt so sad when saw he died. I love that uncle!
They even made jokes on Ku Klux Klan's white mask. Lol.
When Schultz shoot Candie to die and he then shoot by Candie's man, I felt the movie became spiritless. "Is it over?", "That's all?" "Disappointing, ugh!" But, I guessed Mr. Tarantino wanna make Django as the only rising star with his lady for justice. TeeHee. He back to the mansion when Candie's sister sent him to be a mine slave and killed everyone excluded two black women. I love that scene. It was like, "Now get what you've done!" Lol.
Candie was the cruelest but I hate Steven the most! Hey, people like Steven! How was it like to eat meat of your own brothers?
I forget to mention something. This movie was too gory. The spurted blood created new color to the plain wall.
I'm really bad in expressing my thought. There are still long, long lines I have in my mind but I'm a word indigent. There will never be anyone ever satisfied with my review and as well as I.
Indi was a jolly girl whose world was turned upside when she was diagnosed with scoliosis when in junior high school. Due to her health condition, she had to wear body iron buffer (brace) for 23 hours every day. Before entering senior high school, she took a vacation to Jakarta with her parents, and there Indi acquainted with Mika through an unexpected encounter. They then became close friends.
Mika was cool, fun, bold, and always look at life with a positive and relaxed way. Slowly Mika could help Indi to back to be a jovial girl and dare to fight the disease. Mika always had a way to make Indi feel happy in the midst of torture she suffered. Indi's transition from junior high to senior high was considered would be grim but it turned out it was a full-color moment when the girl met Mika who she called an angel because he was so special in her sight.
The closeness between them was turned into something called love. But their story was not as easy as in a fairy tale because Indi's angel was a PLWHA (People Living With HIV/AIDS). Indi never told about Mika's true fact to her parents because since at the first place, Indi's mother had given a bad impression toward him because he had tattoo and she thought Indi was too young to be friend with a man whose age was too much different. But those reasons were nothing for Indi. For her, Mika was the only person after her parents who can accept her just the way she was. Not because of a pity feeling. For Mika, Indi was normal. She's just different which ended in something called special.
Problems began to arrive when Mika's condition was getting weaker and his past begin to reveal. Indi's parents and friends begin to know about Mika and his past. But they do not know the wonderful things that Mika had done for her. Mika was someone who pushed Indi to escape from her loneliness when there were too many things she wanted to do but she's just allowed to watch, due to her illness. Mika invited her to a dance studio and joined other young dancers who also had imperfect physical condition when her mother always told her to sit quietly with the right position.
But, after the death of his best friend (a PLWHA fellow), Mika retreated and left Indi with full of questions in her mind why he left her. Mika knew his time was near. He loved Indi and that's why he didn't want Indi would feel more pain later. Behind Indi's grief after Mika left, she knows that Mika actually made her life more alive and trying to defeat her health condition.
An old movie. Seem from its picture quality and of course TransTv won’t air new movie except in New Year moment. I watched this movie last night and I kinda feel like being cheated because I dunno it’s a horror movie. Bioskop TransTv (TransTv movie) usually aired the horror movies on Thursday night so I won’t start to watch it if I know the true colour. lol. I think it’s just a family movie as it’s aired on Sunday night and when I reach the level I-must-know-the-ending, the demon appeared and I watched alone -,-“ not really alone actually. There’s my mom beside me.. sleeping tightly.. with the turned off lamp! (¬▂¬)
It’s about Emily, a woman works in social institutions for solving children problem. They faced children with different problems and gave their parents solutions and advices in parenting. And her client in her 39th case is Lily. She tried to reject the case as she had had so many cases to solve but her partner refused her rejection. On her record, Lily noted as a withdrawn girl and didn’t play with friends. Emily gave a visit to Lily’s house and found what a creepy home she lived in and what a weird parents she lived with. Her mom had a pale face while her daddy had a weird temperament, he didn’t want to talk to other people when he was angry. And Lily, a little sweet girl who looked scared to her own parents. Emily tried her best to be able to ask Lily to speak up and when she had time to steal a conversation with Lily, Lily told Emily that her parents hated her and wanted to send her to the hell. (⊙_◎)
At one night, Emily got phone from Lily who said sorry and showed an indicate she was under her parents’ dangerous treat. Emily drove her car to Lily’s home in high speed and came on time before Lily’s parents baked their daughter in an oven though the girl had been tied and the oven almost worked. But Lily can be saved and her parents were sent to jail. Finish? No. If it’s that easy to save Lily from her parents, of course someone whose something wrong is.. Lily. (◣_◢)
Emily sent Lily to child-care institution but Lily begged her so she could live with Emily, with her innocent tone and sad expression. Emily said no at first but she effort to get the custody of Lily and presented that she was the best one who could take care Lily in front of the committee and she got it. Lily started to live with her. Emily went to Lily’s home to take her stuffs and found something weird. She saw her parents’ bedroom door had an extra lock like they wanna hide from something.
The weird incidents started to appear. Diego, Lily’s friend in the child-care institution found killed his parents at one night. And the police found that the number from Emily’s house had phoned Diego in the night he killed his parents. Emily explained that she never call Diego in the night. When Emily asked it to Diego, who phoned him at the night, the boy mentioned Lily.
Doug, Emily’s closest guy friend, who also work as kid psychiatrist in the institution, interviewed Lily like usual, to know her development after her parents’ arrested. Weirdly Lily answered ‘No’ for the whole questions asked to her included if she had something to fear about or not. In the opposite, Lily instead asked him if he had something to fear about and he answered it, on purpose to make Lily answered her own. Doug told that he was afraid of bee. After the interview, Doug told Emily that it’s the first time for him, talked to a little kid, but felt so threatened. And in the night, Doug got attacked by so many bees which out of his ear and mouth. And his fear of the bees made him injured himself till die.
Emily’s sadness of Doug’s death made her started to feel there’s something wrong with Lily and it made her visit Lily’s parents in jail. She saw the mother was being isolated and couldn’t get any visit and had been like a crazy woman because she always said that she was burnt. So Emily visit Lily’s father. Without any cue, Lily’s dad straight to the question, ‘who died?’
Emily shocked and feared after she knew Lily was not an ordinary little girl yet a demon. She had killed her mom’s three brothers and her dad’s two sisters. Father also said that Emily was the chosen one by Lily because she was a full of love woman. The only way to save from her was by killing her. And it could only be done if she slept but she never do it. The first time she slept was when her parents almost succeed to obliterate her by burning her in the oven if Emily didn’t come to ‘save’ her. Emily then asked Mike's (her friend) help to kill Lily but Mike faced the tragic incident, too. He was killed by wild dogs which unexpectedly, there were many wild dogs in the car park. At the first, Mike ignored Emily's asking his help to kill Lily because for him, Lily was a lier but not a devil. But then he believed after he found Doug's last phone recorder when he talked with Lily before he died.
At home, Emily put the extra locks in her bedroom door like what Lily’s parents had in their bedroom door. And everything got worst because Lily had known that Emily had known about her. Lily was refused by Emily when she wanted to come into her bedroom and she was angry. She changed to her real appearance, a demon with creepy bad face. Even though, Emily could not escape from Lily as Lily won’t never let her go. Emily asked what Lily wanted and she told that she wanted to be loved. Emily promised they would start everything again from the beginning. Emily make chamomile tea plus sleeping pills hopefully it could make Lily slept. And yes. Lily slept. Emily splashed fuel to the whole of her home and burnt it. She went out of her home and when the fire brigade asked her if everybody had went out or not, she looked wanna say yes till she saw Lily standing close to her.
Emily drove her car with Lily inside and her sad past remembrance of her mom and her car accident which caused her mom’s death, pop up in her mind. Lily laugh at the first but looked scared to see Emily drove the car inconsiderate. Emily like looking a chance to save from Lily. She inconsiderately drove her car till it jumped into the river/lake deliberately. With difficult Emily locked Lily who changed to her real appearance in the car and she swim above the water. And there’s no Lily who chased after her.
Khun Nam, a girl with a mediocre look, in her first year in M.1 (first grade in junior high) fell in love with her senior in M.4 (first grade in senior high), Khun Shone, the most popular boy in school. By all means Nam did everything in order to see or speak with Shone. Shone is an animal lover and a very caring person. Nam's father is an assistant chef in New York and when Nam's uncle (Chang) came to their house to deliver the news that if Nam or her sister Pang got the first rank in class, then she would go to America. Nam was very serious to be able to go to America because she realized she was not able to reach first rank.
Nam's best friends Cheer, Gei, and Nim help her to be able to get Shone, by way of using the book "9 Recipes of Love" and "Ways to Make Senior Like You". Nam said, the book does not make sense and choose to learn, but secretly Nam did what the book said.
When the sweltering day, Nam, Cheer, Gei, and Nim were waiting in line to buy drinks, and suddenly two basketball players, Maew and Ping, immediately came and broke through in a way that pushing those girls to fall. Shone saw them and immediately bought four drinks for Nam, Cheer, Gei, and Nim. When Shone was being in school's arena, suddenly those two basketball players had Shone a hit. The news known by Nam as Gei and Nim told her. Four of them straight back to the arena, and realized Shone, Maew, and Ping were gone, and Nam took the button that fell (Nam thought the buttons was Shone's belonging).
Whenever Nam wanted to get close to Shone, there was only a girl named Faye interrupting her. Such as when Nam wanted to give Shone an ice cream which because they forgot Thailand is a tropical country, the ice cream melted, Faye took that chance to give her mango cake to Shone. And when Nam thought she would be able to go home together with Shone, Faye pretended to be sprained so she could grab the chance right in front of Nam's face.
It's time to choose the after-school activities. Because the traditional dance club only opened to the beautiful girls, Nam and her girls joined the drama club where Teacher Inn, their homeroom who always used naff tricks to distract handsome male teacher, as the instructor and the director at once. Her three girls with the help of a senior girl, Pin, who was Shone's close friend, tried to beautify Nam who got the main role as a Snow White. When practising their drama, the student as the Prince role didn't come and Teacher Inn asked Shone to replace him in a part of kissing scene. Nam who thought it was only a hallucination, pushed Shone to almost fall. In the dressing room, Nam found a little bitten apple that she thought it was from Koy, the real prince player.
In one parade, headmaster tasked Teacher Inn to find a girl that would be the drum band majorette or if not, he would ask Teacher Orn (Teacher Inn's rival in love) to do that. Teacher Inn said she had found that girl although the truth was not. That's why she then lured Nam which ended by Teacher Inn begged her to be the drum band major. Willy-nilly Nam agreed and tried her best to be a good majorette.
With the help of her three best friends, Nam could show a good performance as well as a brand new pretty face looking and whiter skin. Immediately she became popular and got so many valentine gifts included from one transferred male student who was also Shone's best friend since childhood, Top, who fell in love with her. Sadly she got nothing from someone she was waiting for the most.
Finally Shone came with roses in his hands but he said it was from Top. Nam was sad and when she found a letter from someone telling her to meet up in the third floor. Nam followed the letter's instruction and there she met Shone up the stairs. She thought the letter was from him but at that time Top came to her, confessed his heart to Nam.
Nam had been accepted in Shone's gang and it made her three best friends thought she had changed. Not to mention when Nam preferred to join Shone and gang's picnic nearby a river instead of coming to celebrate Cheer's birthday. In a birthday party of one of Shone's friend, Top talked about his deal with Shone to not love the same girl which shocked her.
Nam realized her gang had avoided her. She cried and apologized. Cheer, Gei, and Nim then advised Nam to use Thai's way to get a boy's love: just confess it. Nam told the honesty that she never like Top and in the graduation day, Nam confessed her love to Shone. But she found Pin's name in Shone's uniform. Nam asked how long and Shone replied it had been one week for him and Pin. Nam cried but told she was okay.
At home, Shone opened his photo album and the flashback appeared. It turned out things had been going in Nam's mind were very different with the reality. Such as Shone kept the melted ice cream, Shone thought Nam was a very beautiful Snow White though he said there was no different in the before-after of Nam's make-up and the little bitten apple was from Shone. Shone planted the white roses by himself and because of being too nervous, he told the flowers were from his friend. Shone snapped so many pictures when Nam being a majorette and when Top declared his love, Shone got heartbreake. He put the photo album in front of Nam's house, because the next day Shone had to go to Bangkok to snatch his dream to be a football player. While Nam who got the first rank also would go to the States to live with her father.
9 years later, Nam who had been a famous designer met Shone who had been a soccer player and photographer in a talk show. Nam asked if Shone had married and he answered no. Because he had been waiting someone to back from USA.
Sam Dawsen, although he is a mental retardation man, is a lovable daddy to his 7 years old daughter, Lucy. She is not his biological child because Sam's friend has left Lucy not long after she gave her birth. Sam gets to be supported by his group of friends with developmental disabilities and his kind neighbour, Annie, who always helps Sam to take care Lucy when he can not. Sam has tried his best to provide a good loving environment for his daughter but time has passed and Lucy becomes cleverer and cleverer till surpasses her daddy's mental ability. Not to mention Lucy's friends always tease her to have an idiot father. As a little girl, Lucy starts to feel embarrassed with the fact that her father is a 'retard'.
Sam is not cleverer than a 7 years old kid and he is a low-income. The government takes those reasons to decide Sam is not a decent father for Lucy. Because of that, Lucy is taken by the government and Sam is allowing to have two supervised visits per week. His friend then advices Sam to visit a lawyer to help him wins over Lucy's custody. The woman names Rita Harrison. Materially, Rita has had everything. But mentally, she is underprivileged. Her husband is philandering and she has a fractious relationship with her son. Fast-paced schedule and difficult personal life have earned her a reputation as cold and unfeeling. Rita is reluctant to help Sam at the first place, but his stubborn has melted Rita to finally obliges him. Besides, she wants to prove to others that she is not heartless.
At the trial, Sam breaks down after opposing counsel convinces him that he is not capable of being a father. After the trial, Lucy resides in a foster home with Randy Carpenter, but tries to convince Sam to help her run away, and continually escapes in the middle of the night to go to Sam's apartment, whereupon he immediately returns her. Ultimately, the foster family who planned to adopt Lucy decide to return her to Sam, with an arrangement that Randy will help him raise her. As Sam and Rita work together to secure Sam's parental rights, Sam unwittingly helps Rita with her family problems, including encouraging her to leave her philandering husband and repairing her relationship with her son.
March 28, 2009, by driving with his wife from their home in Underhill, Vermont, Captain Phillips is ready to be the captain of Maersk Alabama, an unarmed container ship moving from Salalah Port, Oman, to Mombasa through Gulf of Aden which is a location known for the pirate activity off the coast of Somalia. In the middle of their journey, Captain Phillips can see through his binoculars that there are two skiffs look like approaching them. To find out if they are pirates who try to hunt their container or not, he orders his crew to change a little bit of their direction and the two skiffs are indeed following them.
Phillips deceives the skiffs by acting he is calling for help from air military causing one of the skiffs turns back. But in the next day, one of the skiffs, led by Abdulwali Muse, comes back to hijack the container with his three crews: Hufan, Bilal and Najee. The pirates are equipped with complete guns and start to shoot the container crews. Captain Phillips orders to spray them with high-speed water with their ship hose. It can hamper the pirate's plan but unfortunately it can not stop them. They install a ladder to the ship body and climb up, to take control the ship with the guns in their hands.
The Captain orders his crew to hide in the engine room while he tries to negotiate with Muse and his gang. He offers them $30.000 saved in the ship's save and they will consider nothing happens. The pirates ask more. They ask 1 million dollars from the ship crews' insurance. Muse tell that he is the captain and orders the Captain to bring him to the engine room, which he does not know is the place where the crews are hiding. The crews have turned off the engine so most of the parts of the ship are dark. One of the pirates get feet injured so badly in the engine room so Phillips offers to help to heal him. They go back to the control room and Muse is left behind in the engine room. The dark room is taken as a chance by Phillips' crew to attack Muse to ransom their captain and they will bring the pirates a lifeboat, too.
Captain Phillips tells them where the lifeboat is but the pirates asks him to tell them how to use it. His crews have prohibited Phillips to follow what the pirates ask but Phillips is on his own way. He follows the pirates to enter the lifeboat and gives them the explanation in how to run the lifeboat. Unexpectedly, Muse stabs him and now he is their hostage; something he has emphasized to his crews not to happen.
The USS Bainbridge, U.S. Navy destroyer, starts to heads for the shore to help the captain. And it is increasingly chaotic for the gang as they run out their khat (a flowering plant that is native to the Horn of Africa and the Arabian Peninsula. Among communities from these areas, khat chewing has a history as a social custom dating back thousands of years. Khat contains a monoamine alkaloid called cathinone, an amphetamine-like stimulant, which is said to cause excitement, loss of appetite, and euphoria. In 1980, the World Health Organization (WHO) classified it as a drug of abuse that can produce mild-to-moderate psychological dependence(less than tobacco or alcohol), although WHO does not consider khat to be seriously addictive. -- Source)
In that precarious moment, Phillips tries to negotiate with Muse that the U.S. Navy will not just lest it like nothing happen, they will not just free Muse and his men since they have gone too far. Knowing his negotiation is rejected out of hand, Phillips offers to help Hufan (the youngest pirate who is the softest among them) with his wound. Secretly Phillips says that he will help Hufan. While in USS Bainbridge, Frank Castellano is ordered to prevent the pirates from reaching the mainland by whatever means necessary. They are success to approach the lifeboat and start the negotiation. Muse raises the amount to be 10 millions dollars but he doesn't realize there is a surveillance equipment has been installed in his boat.
That night, Phillips throws Hufan who is on his duty to watch the captain to the water and is able to escape by swimming towards the ships. But the navy cannot identify the swimmer as Phillips, and therefore they take no action. Giving up on his escaping trial, Phillips forcefully swims back to the lifeboat. The further agitated pirates are also unaware that a SEAL Team has parachuted in to intervene.
While three SEAL marksmen get into positions to fire a simultaneous shot at each of the pirates on the lifeboat, the SEALs continue to try to negotiate with the pirates, eventually taking the lifeboat under tow. Eventually, Muse agrees to board the Bainbridge, believing he will join his clan elders in negotiating Phillips' ransom. In the lifeboat, one of the more agitated pirates, Najee, catches Phillips writing a goodbye note to his wife. When he tries to take the note away, Phillips attacks Najee, but is quickly restrained and beaten.
Najee decides to take full control; the pirates tie Phillips up and blindfold him, and the Bainbridge crew stops the tow. As Phillips is about to be executed, the three SEAL marksmen finally get three clear shots and simultaneously kill the pirates. On board the Bainbridge, Muse is taken into custody and arrested for piracy. And Phillips is rescued and treated.

Richard Phillips returned to Vermont on April 17, 2009 and was reunited with his family and on July 25, 2009, the captain went back to the sea. Whereas Abdulwali Muse, the only pirate survivor, was convicted of piracy as is currently serving 33 years at the Federal Correctional Complex, Terre Haute, Indiana.

Had been declared as the first couple winner of 74th annual game by Capitol, Hunger Games, Katniss Everdeen and Peeta Mellark spreding love in the air of the whole 12 districts. President Snow saw that as a threat for the continuance of Panem regime since people started to realize there was still hope for them which the regime worried would happen a revolution. Panem desired to rid Katniss of as she was the role model for the people to start hoping, but in a right way because now, she is the attention centre. Not to mention President Snow couldn't be lied that Katniss' and Peeta's love story in Hunger Games arena was only a scripted act.
President Snow forced the 'lovebirds' to follow the winner's trip to give speech to other 11 districts with noted paper of the speech content had been arranged by Panem. It's said it was to honor those who have fallen but the real purpose was to make the people to hate Katniss and Peeta. In district 11, Peeta said they will give a one month period of their prize as the winner to the bereaved families and Katniss said sorry to not be able to help Rue who had saved her. An old man raised his hand by whistling a Mockingjay tone followed by the whole people of district 11. The old man then ended with bullet lodged in his skull.
President Snow had threatened Katniss that he will kill all people she loved that's why she had to follow what had been ordered. Chaos happened in every district they came to. They screamed Katniss just speech based on what her hearts felt; don't lie by reading the speech written by Panem that how they thanked Panem for having helped them.
Snow announced a special Hunger Games, the Third Quarter Quell, where all tributes would be selected from previous victors. From District 12, Katniss and Haymitc were chosen to be sent to the arena but Peeta volunteered himself to replace his place. This game was arranged to make people believe that Katniss, the source of hoping, was not someone they could believe in. She would kill her friends in the arena, too. And for Katniss, the game was arranged to desperate her and of course to kill her. And the first step to do so was by killing Cinna right in front of her eyes.
In the dressing room before entering the Good Bye stage, Katniss who continued her love story with Peeta with a wedding plan (to please the audiences but cancelled due to the Third Quarter Quell), be dressed with a wedding dress. Cinna, her designer, told that the other tributes opposed this game so Katniss should create the same expression. Other tributes indeed expressed their disapproval by cursing and softly said that the rule by human could be removed. But Peeta as the last man saying his Good Bye, had his own way, he said Katniss was pregnant. The audiences shocked and insisted the game should be stopped.
The arena in this Third Quarter Quell, Katniss and Peeta allied with Finnick Odair and a granny, Mags. Then they joined Wiress and Beetee and Johanna Mason. Mags had sacrificed herself so she would not slow them down from the poisonous fog chasing and Wiress died in the sea.

The remaining rival tributes had found where Katniss and the gang were and at that time Johanna attacked Katniss and slashed her hand but ensured her to keep lying without sounding. Johanna then run to distract their attention. Back to the place where they would run their plan to make trap by manipulating the cruel artificial weather, Katniss found the unconscious Beetee and Peeta was lost. When Finnick came, she almost shoot him but Finnick calmed her down, reminded her who the real enemy was. Katniss attached the remaining wire to an arrow and shoot it into the arena forcefield as the lightning hit, causing a power failure that took down the dome's forcefield as well as the Capitol's surveillance.
The Hunger Games takes place in a nation known as Panem, established in North America after the destruction of the continent's civilization by an unknown apocalyptic event. The nation consists of the wealthy Capitol and twelve surrounding, poorer districts united under the Capitol's control. District 12, where the book begins, is located in the coal-rich region that was formerly known as Appalachia.
As punishment for a past rebellion against the Capitol, in which a 13th district was destroyed, one boy and one girl between the ages of 12 and 18 from each district are selected by an annual lottery to participate in the Hunger Games, an event in which the participants (or "tributes") must fight to the death in an outdoor arena controlled by the Capitol, until only one individual remains. The story is narrated by 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen, a girl from District 12 who volunteers for the 74th annual Hunger Games in place of her younger sister, Primrose. The male tribute chosen from District 12 is Peeta Mellark, a former schoolmate of Katniss who once gave her bread from his family's bakery when her family was starving.
Katniss and Peeta are taken to the Capitol, where their drunken mentor, Haymitch Abernathy, victor of the 50th Hunger Games, instructs them to watch and determine the strengths and weaknesses of the other tributes. "Stylists" are employed to make each tribute look his or her best; Katniss's stylist, Cinna, is the only person at the Capitol with whom she feels a degree of understanding. The tributes are publicly displayed to the Capitol audience in an interview with television host Caesar Flickerman, and have to attempt to appeal to the television audience in order to obtain "sponsors". During this time, Peeta reveals on-air his longtime unrequited love for Katniss. Katniss believes this to be a ploy to gain sponsors, who can be critical to survival because of their ability to send gifts such as food, medicine, and tools to favored tributes during the Games.
While nearly half the tributes are killed in the first day of the Games, Katniss relies on her well-practiced hunting and survival skills to remain unharmed and concealed from the other tributes. A few days into the Games, Katniss develops an alliance with Rue, a 12-year-old girl from the agricultural District 11 who reminds Katniss of her own sister. In the meantime, Peeta appears to have joined forces with the tributes from the richer districts. However, when he has the opportunity to kill Katniss, he instead saves her from the others. Katniss's alliance with Rue is brought to an abrupt end when Rue is killed by another tribute, whom Katniss then kills in self-defence with an arrow. Katniss sings to Rue until she dies, and spreads flowers over her body as a sign of respect for Rue and disgust towards the Capitol.
Apparently because of Katniss and Peeta's image in the minds of the audience as "star-crossed lovers", a rule change is announced midway through the Games, allowing two tributes from the same district to win the Hunger Games as a couple. Upon hearing this, Katniss begins searching for Peeta. She eventually finds him, wounded and in hiding. As she nurses him back to health, she acts the part of a young girl falling in love to gain more favor with the audience and, consequently, gifts from her sponsors. When the couple remains as the last two surviving tributes, the Gamemakers reverse the rule change in an attempt to force them into a dramatic finale, in which one must kill the other to win. Katniss, knowing that the Gamemakers would rather have two victors than none, retrieves highly poisonous berries known as "nightlock" from her pouch and offers some to Peeta. Realizing that Katniss and Peeta intend to commit suicide, the Gamemakers announce that both will be the victors of the 74th Hunger Games.
Although she survives the ordeal in the arena and is treated to a hero's welcome in the Capitol, Katniss is warned by Haymitch that she has now become a political target after defying her society's authoritarian leaders so publicly. Afterwards, Peeta is heartbroken when he learns that Katniss's actions in the arena were part of a calculated ploy to earn sympathy from the audience. However, Katniss is unsure of her own feelings and realizes that she is dreading the moment when she and Peeta will go their separate ways.
