It's an injustice decision to call him callous. He just maintains his perfectionist and try to teach his students to be the best one. That is why he will never hesitate to give zero as your test score. Yes.. that round-shaped figure will decorate your paper right in the right side of your name if you finish the test out of the correct answer. Never think he will tolerate any single piece of mistake. Remedial is the only chance. Haha. But we love our lecturer this one. His enforcement pushes us to be better than we used to be. His rationality plays the role the right way. He will score you based on your competence not from how close you are with him personally.

One another thing, to hear so many rumours about our seniors failing in his subject, worry us so much. That caused Tari made a promise.

"If I get an A. I'll treat you in Kedai Awak!"

Here we go in Kedai Awak because she did it! She gets an A and a promise is a promise.

Kedai Awak means My Stall in English. Seriously I will never come to this place again if they do not maintain their foods and beverages. The service is so good but we come to a cafe not to see people smiling but the foods. The good foods. But, for the reason of being a person who appreciates food so much, I finish all.

Kedai Awak's signature dish Roti Kreak. It used to be known having 1 meter in length but now they cut the size to the half way.

Mango Jelly and Bluberry Widow. I really cannot tolerate the taste of the blue one. Sigh.

They call it Mie Persis. Exactly-the-same noodle. It supposed to be the noodle's appearance will be exactly the same like the picture on Indomie's packaging. But yeah..

If you like a dry fried chicken with tough meat. Just go with this fried rice.

Actual date was on October 26, 2015

It's used to be known as Rumah Burger which I ever made a post about it when I was treated by my sister. This time I revisited this homey eatery which I call a gem in the rabbit hole. Went there with Tari, Evin and Kak Noni with no kidding effort. The big me and Tari included the so petite Evin should deal with the unhappy moment to reach the burger place. The jam was not nice seriously. Tari gave the wrong address so we had to give extra money if we didn't want to continue by walking to the opposite way from the place we had reached. It's worth it for the happy tummy in the end actually.

Evin is the best food in crime I ever had. We always share the food we ordered so we can try another menu. But to be honest it ends with the money saving programme hahahaha.. This time we ordered this Nduts Blepots Burger. The beef patty is so thick and so good for sure. Vegetables are fresh but the cabbage was such a disappointment for me. I wished it was lettuce. And the meat sauce is the main star. Add tomato sauce and it would be tasted even better.

Kak Noni's order which was successfully executed by herself.. alone..
Tari's order..

We ordered lemon squash for drinks but it was a disappointment. Tasting more like sprite.

My lovely Evin...
If you read this blog, firstly I wanna show you my deepest regret to be absent in our last discussion for Language pening Planning. Second I wanna say sorry for telling you I couldn't join others because I had scheduled till afternoon. haha. How else? I couldn't help it. Going to smell the mall scent tempted me so badly. So kampung meh! It's true no matter what lah  this condition I will never be able to tell about had struck me on the head, to the point I wanna escape for awhile to try ramen in the newly opened Renjiro Kuu in Plaza Medan Fair.

Chat with Fani two days before the H day. Asked her to meet up on Friday because it was a short-hour work day and there will be no other day if we couldn't manage to meet at that moment. I told her to reach PMF on 1 pm but it turned out we stepped on our feet in there at 2.30 pm. She recommended me this dumpling she had favored since forever. To the point she doesn't need to mention her order because the crew had known her so well; what her favorite is.

There's no run out of topics when I was with this girl. We can chat about everything and it's always filled with laughter. We switch into a transparent persona. No secret anymore.

Went to try ramen at Renjiro Kuu and it really doesn't suit my taste. It's nothing. It's just I can not adjust the taste with my Indonesia tounge.

Mine. I don't know what its name. The only I remember is the noodle is called udon with beef.

Pani's.

Ahh.. I just transfer some amount of money sums up my five months salary to be tortured five months ahead. Lol. Kidding.. I just pay my college cost fee, though = ̄ω ̄=

Tried to do it in bank at campus but there is happening a reshuffled teaching schedule in SMK and it was so hectic. Most of the teacher nagged for the reducing and increasing too much teaching hours. I replace my current class with others but I hope this new schedule will be okay with mine in Medistra.

Look at that FATSSS!!

Talk about Medistra, me and the Gossip Ladies in SMK had a lunch in Bakso Mas Tri (Bro Tri's Meatball; Mas is the Javanese way to call older man). It's really close to Medistra. I regretted because these ladies didn't tell me first, so I could postpone eating my lunch I prepared from home before. Turned out I ate the meatball with full tummy ㄟ(≧◇≦)ㄏ

I ordered meatball soup without noodle. And the rest ladies ordered chicken noodle with meatball and additional FAT as topping O_o. The soup is so light and no worry the thick one due to overload of fats in it. The best drink to accompany us eating fatty meatball actually is lime juicy but we ordered iced sweet tea. There are also quail eggs and chicken gizzard satay to be the additional topping. The taste of everything served in there are so yummy with affordable price as well.

Having lunch with Auliya in newly opened Pikadeli last Sunday. It is the most appealing cafe in Delimas. You should thank me for not calling you a foodcourt. haha.. It was not our main purpose to ride our motorbike under the very hot sun. Au needed something important to buy and the lunch out was a complement. It ended with full tummy without satisfied feeling. I ordered Ice Corn with Longan and Au ordered Hot Lemon Tea for our beverages. Everything is from the canned ingredients!! The corns, longans and lemon. It was obviously a lemon syrup they pour with tea not the real lemon juice. And for the foods, my fried seafood kwe tiau was not that bad. At least it had the spicy taste in it. And Au ordered the same seafood kwe tiau but served with sauced. The kwe tiau was dried fried then poured with thick sauce.

Last two weeks I and my sister finally had a time to give Rumah Burger a try. We reached there by our motorbike because it was located not in a common culinary bussiness area. It was in a housing residents in Medan. I have to admit delicious foods do not need any special commercial location. People will hunt them no matter what!

We ordered Blepot Burger if I'm not mistaken it is the name. Blepot means messy. It's too big in real. The sauce you look covered the burger is made of ground beef. So yummy! Worry will cause any food waste, we finish it by sharing and after making sure it was done perfectly, we ordered another dish. Spaghetti uhm.. something.

It was served on a plate as big as a round tray! We could not finish it. No worry. They provide us free styrofoam to bring our undone foods home. My sister ordered ice lime and kuini float for me. Oh, that day was a treat from her. hehe..

Ahh.. After almost than one year we haven't seen each other, finally last week we could manage time to meet up. Me met Fani, Ira and Ayu. Without the lost girl Sitti. Don't know why we took less pictures last week. One of the blatant aging effect, maybe. Huahaha.. As always, there was no another better option than Plaza Medan Fair. Something unexpected happened at our meeting; Fani the most lelet girl in Medan was the first person reached the place. Amazing. Lol.

I love to snap foody pictures. They're so beautiful in my sight.

We had the discussion on time last week  and this cutie tummy asked something hot and spicy to be filled with. This bakso (meatball) was the best choice. Chang introduced me to this gigantic meatball back then in 2008 when she deal with her university entrance exam. And it tastes so good. The price is affordable for students like us. Please take a note that I am a student now. Lol.

But I was with Kak Noni. The new friend I acquainted with in my new university. I always get a free ride from her who came to campus by motorbike everyday. College is over at almost 6 in the evening. So I had to get rush to reach the mini bus stop if I do not want to miss the last mini bus.

We had a plan to give Rumah Burger (Burger House) a visit but it's still a plan. The schedules we had in our works and assignments are so tight.

Ahh.. Now, I teach in two schools, Alhamdulillaah for this chances, O Allah.. Hope you do the best in your daily lives, Pals.
Bye-bye.
My father always nags me for not being able to drive motorbike till now, while there have been thousands elementary school kids out there can do that. Lol. So Noni suggested me to have a one week getaway in Kampung so she could teach me how to ride that two-wheelers. She added, it would be really hard for me in the future work-time if I could not drive a motorbike. I agreed and calmly sit in the back seat while she picked me up all the way from Gelugur Kuta. hehe.

We started in a lonely road near the corn field not far from my granny's home. Because it's a matic motorcycle and I of course could ride a bicycle (kill myself if I couldn't ride bicycle, I went to school in elementary time by it) I just need to control my hand power while pulled the gas and balanced the handlebar so I could make it straightly run.

The first mie aceh I bought by driving on my own.

Oh, It's quiet easy and I felt like playing a simulation game. The big boss would be the police who I would show my new ability so he will be willing to give my driver's license. Lol. But, I was mistaken. When I saw a truck came from the opposite way, I was so worry and hardly thought what I should do with my motorbike. Noni just calmed me down and said I just need to stay in my own route or stop could be the other best option.

Noni is the best teacher. She was very quiet in training me but kept being watchful since I could do any worst thing with me as the driver. She just laughed when I was too rigid driving the motorbike. Especially when I sounded the horn to chase the chickens away from the road. I was really bad in practicing the turning part. But practice makes perfect, right?

In the second day, I started to be able to control my worriess when I must share the road with other users. And in the third day, I felt it was really easy to drive the motorbike and I could prolong the training length to buy food which was pretty far from my granny's home. I was the driver for the round-trip, but to be honest, in the intersection of four where there were so many transportations came from all directions met in one point, Noni took over the handlebar. Lol.

Lestari Indah, the first beach I visited by driving on my own.

Last Saturday I went home and Noni joined me because it took 2 hours driving from Kampung to my home, so it would make her so tired if she went home in the same day. Moreover, my sister had promised to treat us Es Teler 77 if I could go to Indomaret by myself. I argued her that I could take Noni to the beach. If the distance from our home to beach was measured, I had repeatedly went there. Lol. In the next day we went to PMF to ask my sister make her promise to be real. Haha. And Noni was back to Kampung and we were back to Perbaungan.

I should have been Es Teler 77 ambassador since I was like do not know where to eat except there and like there is no option except Baso Super Special Jumbo and Es Teler. Lol.
Another lovely topic for this 30 days blogging challenge by Emotional Flutter. We are asked to make a post about our ideal (I prefer to call it favorite) menus for breakfast, lunch, diner and snacks. I eat not only for the reason of my body need, but I love to. I felt happy every time I was served with so delicious foods. And something I'm proud of myself is it's really rare found leftover on my plate! I can differentiate which food is tasty, but I refuse to use the not-tasty one as an excuse to throw the food to garbage.

But now I am on on-going OCD, so I do not have breakfast and diner. I still cannot increase my Fasting Hours and stay in my current Eat Window. That's the reason why I am not really breakup with my usual weight, maybe. Lol. But, I love food so much! Happy tummy, happy life! haha.

Note: Images are from Google

Breakfast
For breakfast, I always eat rice. Fried rice and Lontong Sayur (veggie rice cake) will be my favorite. The Lontong Sayur is not a dish you can make in only thirty minutes no matter it's only for a breakfast. You must boil the rice cake at least 8 hours to get the perfect texture. So, buy Lontong Sayur from my favorite lontong sayur seller with her pushed cart is the best option. For the drink, usually I got hot sweet tea but mineral water was the most often.

Lunch
Everyday I have rice as my main menu for the three-times-eat-a-day, I'm truly Indonesian. Here, you have not eaten if it's not rice. Lol. But, if I was not at home or was deliberately looking for food from the roadside stalls or the lovely traditional cuisines pushed carts, the choice would fall on Ayam Penyet (smashed fried chicken) and Meatball noodle.

Ayam Penyet is Indonesian dish consisting rice, fried chicken which had been smashed to make it softer, fried tempe (soybean cake) and tofu, sliced cucumbers and raw cabbage and long beans with the spicy sambal (condiment) which was made with the mixture of chillis, onions, garlics, tomatoes, belacan (a seasoning made from fermented fish and / or rebon shrimp, shaped like a dough or pasta and coloured black-brown) and lime juice.

For the drinks, the spicy dishes need some sweet and refreshing drink. I'll choose ice young coconut and ice lemon tea. For the ice young coconut, I really love if it was added with kasturi juice and liquid brown sugar.

Diner
I really like to have Mie Rebus Medan (Medan boiled noodle) and fried Kwetiau for my diner. Back when I was a college student, I and my housemates would walk to Griya to buy Mie Aceh to bring home as our diner. And for the drink, we ordered ice fruit soup.

Snacks
I don't really like snacking but I can't resist if you offer me the cup noodle called Pop Mie, chocolate ice cream and Bagelen (bread/bun spread with margarine, sprinkled with granulated sugar and then baked in the oven to dry) from Kartika Sari. haha.

The menus above are not the list I eat everyday. My mother will get mad if I do that unhealthy eating habits. Once in two weeks is enough, I think. *A healthy diet freak will call me crazy*. Lol. My mother serves us daily healthy food for our body. Veggies, fish, meat, or seafood.

Went to Grand Indonesia in Saturday night

Just back from Jakarta to take the civil servants entrance exam in Foreign Ministry with Hanum and we were accompanied by my sister and her friend, Kak Dina. I actually don't have a good feeling to write this as my score made me down so badly. But I can't resist what an enjoyable trip I had in Jakarta and it's my first time being in the capital of my beloved country.

My sister's Hainan Chicken when having lunch in Central Park before heading to airport And the right picture is my order, Kung Pao Chicken.

We went on Saturday morning and Kak Dina's brother picked us up in the airport and then drove us to the hotel which had been booked by Bang Abet, our neighbor working in MenPAN. Bang Abet is Melda's older brother. The Sumatrans were scheduled to have the exam on Monday, so we had two days to enjoy the trip.

Except the exam itself, everything made me happy in the city surrounded by so many skyscrapers. Beautiful malls which I never see in Medan LOL, neat and clean environment, friendly taxi drivers, yummy culinary, didn't need to bother to haggle when shopping in Tanah Abang like there's no tomorrow and of course nice people we met there who helped us a lot. They are our friends and neighbors, though. TeeHee. And I was not that bothered by Jakarta's deadly traffic jam. Haha

I and Hanum persuaded my sister to ride Bajaj. Hey! We're in Jakarta, so bajaj was a must to try. There's no bajaj in Medan. Lol. But she just replied: "Just go by yourselves". Then I asked her how about Kopaja? We also need to try it. And we got a silent treatment. Lol. But we tried to ride a, what was it called? The blue one larger than bajaj. That's nice. Lol.

Bang Abet accompanied us to see the test location and then treated us diner in Senayan City. In the last day, we had to check out from the hotel. I who got the first session test, packed our stuffs and Hanum who got the second one, picked up by her YM Forum friends who then drove us to airport. Having lunch in Central Park before heading to airport.

They are funny, kind and friendly! Thanks for your kindness, guys. We love Jakarta!! But for me, Jakarta is a heaven if you have much, much money. Lol.
