Yesterday I took another CPNS test and it's a test in Ministry of Fisheries and Marine in Belawan. I got the last session in that day and must back home at night. The test itself started on 4 in the afternoon. Because I had taken my first CPNS test in Foreign Ministry before, I could go through it quite calmly. There was no nervous at all.

Talk about the Foreign Ministry test, I failed. Crying for some minutes this morning after reading the official announcement but it is life! I'm not living in fantasy land where mother fairy will drag her magic stick to change everything to be what I wish just by shedding tears.

Otherwise, I'm lucky enough! Many people can only take one test but I can take 3 in one year. What if I failed in the three tests? Nobody know! But if I decided to give up since the first one made me down successfully, everybody know I'll get nothing. Because I was too scared to start over.

Belawan is a port area in North Sumatra and the toll road we passed to reach there, offered us a different fantastic view in the both right and left road side. Much different from Medan's downtown. I saw a huge building area in strong China architecture colored golden yellow. Beautiful! I don't know what it was, but my friend said that it was maybe a Buddhist school.

Belawan also known as the center of the gigantic industrial factories in this province. And when we passed it in the night, the lights from the factories gave me a fantastic view. The leaning small boats reminded me to beach not far from our house.

I couldn't snap the proper pictures since we were on the freeway. Stopping was forbidden. But more or less the view was like this. TeeHee

Found some friendly examinees in the waiting room. There's a funny mommy from Samosir told us something. She gave some additional fee to the motorcycle taxi driver, but with one condition: pray for her success. And the driver immediately prayed for her. Hehe. There's also a man came to me and made me confused with his question, but it didn't take long time for him to realize that I was not someone he ever known before.

How about the test result? Let's see in the mid of November..
Wish me luck!!
When I consulted with Uncle Google if 'he' could direct me to some sources for my searching of "doll blogger template", it turned out some of results for "doll template" were our best childhood games Paper Doll. You remember and surely ever played this game in your elementary school times, right?

I used to save my pocket money just to buy this paper filled with cutie pie dolls with their all-girls'-dream dresses. And it was so a lucky for me if my mother picked me up instead of my trishaw driver since I could ask her to buy the paper doll in the big scale which was pricey for an elementary schoolgirl standard.

Every Sunday back when we were kiddies, I and my best neighbour girlfriends Molida, Melda, Nirma and Evi would alternately visit our homes with a shoe box filled with our paper doll. Yes, we stored them in a shoe box lol. In my home, we used to take place the girls' activity in our terrace.

After deciding where was our territory to build our paper doll's housing, we started to decorate it. And it usually ended by Molida had the biggest house. She needed long time to decorate her doll's house. She even drew rice with pencil for her doll's "food" since it never be other 'face' except the Caucasians. That's why there was no rice. haha

We acted like neighbors by visiting other's 'houses' and we used the former cigarette box for the 'transportation' lol. The dolls had names and we made them to 'role' as someone we wanted them to be. It could be a schoolgirl, mommy or an auntie. We chatted like how a schoolgirl, mommy or an auntie should be. Teehee..

I also found this 1950's paper doll Betsy McCall.

Betsy McCall was announced in April of 1951 and first appeared on the pages of McCall's magazine in May, 1951. Nosy, her six-month old dachshund, is seen with her in that first issue. The next month, June of 51, she is joined by her mother, Mrs. McCall (no first name known), her father, Mr. James McCall appeared in July and and Cousin Barbara, who is Betsy's age, followed in August. Through the years other various siblings, cousins, friends and pets became a part of her adventures. Source

I missed my childhood memory so I wanted to bring the flashback to this time by downloading some printable paper dolls. But it turned out I'm not that patient to cut them out and then do the 'tab and fold' session lol. And I caused some waste paper from the unused paper cutout. I think I must search the manual one in some malls.

Finished to watch this movie last night with my sister and I satisfied with the plot idea and special effects, but got big disappointed by the end. They should prolong the duration to complete the story. Less than 2 hours? Django just took less than 15 minutes to fill 3 hours duration!

It's about two different planets Up the rich and Down the poor. The planets existed next to another with 3 gravity rules:
  1. All matter is pulled by the gravity of the world that it comes from, and not the other.
  2. An object's weight can be offset by matter from the opposite world (inverse matter).
  3. After some time in contact, matter in contact with inverse matter burns.
That means if someone from Up went to Down, she wouldn't be able to walk normally since she against the gravity. If she wished to, she need some materials from Down to make her body balanced the gravity in Down. But it would be obtained for limited times or if not, she will burn.

Adam Kirk, an orphaned from Down lived in seedy neighborhood and unhealthy environment with waste oil from Up, fallen in love with Eden Moore from Up where the perfection of sophisticated living found. They met in the mountain top, the closest place in which could unite people from the different planets. But, it's strictly forbidden for people from the planets to meet up. When Adam pulled Eden towards Down with rope and he carry her on his shoulder, they got caught by Down's authority. It's too late for Adam to send Eden back to Up since one man shoot him caused the rope detached and Eden fallen down, bleeding in her head.

Ten years later, Adam working on anti-aging cream with his aunty's secret recipe. One day, he watched news from Up on TV that there's a chance opened for people to work in TransWorld, the biggest company which was the only place connecting Up and Down in where people from Up and Down could work there. With his anti-aging project, Adam got hired in the company purposely to meet Eden. With his friend's help, Bob, Adam could meet her but Eden suffering amnesia and didn't know who Adam was.

Shortly, Adam's efforts to make Eden remembered him was success. But, Up's authority found Adam was someone against Up's rules and chased after him. He escaped by plunging to the sea since he started to burn and the best scene displayed! Remember that it's needed material from other planet to walk normally in there? Adam took off the materials stick in his cloth and then Down's gravity pulled him from the water and cast his body through the cloud to the sea in Down. Cool!!

TransWorld negotiated to take the secret recipe from Adam and he would be freed from the charge, but would never be allowed to see Eden. Back to Down, Adam thought he would never see Eden anymore, but Bob surprised him by walking in front of him, in Down, without any special matter. Bob said he successes to complete Adam's recipe to make people from the different planets didn't need to against the gravity if visited other planet and he had the patent of the product before TransWorld. And another surprise was Eden was waiting for him in one place, told him she was pregnant twins baby.

They didn't show how Bob create a way to negate the gravity effect with Adam's recipe and was it that easy to compete a company as giant as TransWorld alone?

Went to Grand Indonesia in Saturday night

Just back from Jakarta to take the civil servants entrance exam in Foreign Ministry with Hanum and we were accompanied by my sister and her friend, Kak Dina. I actually don't have a good feeling to write this as my score made me down so badly. But I can't resist what an enjoyable trip I had in Jakarta and it's my first time being in the capital of my beloved country.

My sister's Hainan Chicken when having lunch in Central Park before heading to airport And the right picture is my order, Kung Pao Chicken.

We went on Saturday morning and Kak Dina's brother picked us up in the airport and then drove us to the hotel which had been booked by Bang Abet, our neighbor working in MenPAN. Bang Abet is Melda's older brother. The Sumatrans were scheduled to have the exam on Monday, so we had two days to enjoy the trip.

Except the exam itself, everything made me happy in the city surrounded by so many skyscrapers. Beautiful malls which I never see in Medan LOL, neat and clean environment, friendly taxi drivers, yummy culinary, didn't need to bother to haggle when shopping in Tanah Abang like there's no tomorrow and of course nice people we met there who helped us a lot. They are our friends and neighbors, though. TeeHee. And I was not that bothered by Jakarta's deadly traffic jam. Haha

I and Hanum persuaded my sister to ride Bajaj. Hey! We're in Jakarta, so bajaj was a must to try. There's no bajaj in Medan. Lol. But she just replied: "Just go by yourselves". Then I asked her how about Kopaja? We also need to try it. And we got a silent treatment. Lol. But we tried to ride a, what was it called? The blue one larger than bajaj. That's nice. Lol.

Bang Abet accompanied us to see the test location and then treated us diner in Senayan City. In the last day, we had to check out from the hotel. I who got the first session test, packed our stuffs and Hanum who got the second one, picked up by her YM Forum friends who then drove us to airport. Having lunch in Central Park before heading to airport.

They are funny, kind and friendly! Thanks for your kindness, guys. We love Jakarta!! But for me, Jakarta is a heaven if you have much, much money. Lol.
