Drama
Hello, I'm broke actually. This week is so hectic but I love it. It signs me alive. At least, still. I, my mom and sister have a new addiction currently. An Indian drama entitles Mahabharata. It relates to that country's majority religion and mythology but hey, we enjoy the storyline without affecting our own religion. You have to know this, our family time is started on 7pm. It's the time we have dinner and another family's quality time. And since this last 3 weeks, 7pm is the starter to be ready to watch our newly favorite Indian drama: Mahabharata.
But sadly, we wait 2 hours to get 9pm to watch that drama which only airs for only 15 minutes. Lemme repeat that, 15 minutes. Compare to our local dramas which was popular by its name Sinetron, which have airing time for more than 2 hours for each episode, 15 minutes is like the movie has ended before you're ready with popcorn in your hand. It's without commercial break, though. And I found that Mahabharata is still airing in its country of origin so, I assume this really short duration is due to the high price the TV station has to pay to buy the broadcasting right.
I won't be able to make its summary. It's on-going and the episodes are really in a big number. Can you let me use this excuse to get the short summary from Wikipedia The Highness, please

In short, the Mahabharata tells the story of the five Pandavas conflict with their cousins, the one hundred Kauravas, the state government land rights disputes Astina. The climax is Bhāratayuddha war in the battle field of Kurukshetra and lasted for eighteen days.
King Santanu was a famous king of the Kuru lineage, derived from Hastinapura. He was married to Goddess Ganga who is doomed to fall into the world, but the goddess Ganga left him for violating their marriage vows. The relationship with the Goddess Ganga and the King had led to the child, named Dewabrata or Bhishma. After being left for the goddess Ganga, King Santanu eventually became a widower.
A few years later, King Santanu resumes family life by marrying the goddess Satyawati, daughter of a fisherman. From the relationship, the King gets sons: Chitrāngada and Wicitrawirya. Chitrāngada died at a young age in a battle, and then he was replaced by his brother Wicitrawirya. Wicitrawirya also died at a young age and has not had time to have children. The assistance of Rishi Vyasa, the two wives of Wicitrawirya, Ambika and Ambalika, each gave birth to a son, names Pandu (from Ambalika) and Dhritarashtra (from Ambika).
Dhritarashtra was born blind, the throne of Hastinapur submitted to Pandu, his brother. Pandu married Kunti. Pandu then married for the second time with Madrim, but due to a mistake at the time of Pandu archery deer that are in love, then the deer expend (Supata = Curse) that Pandu will not feel anymore marital relationship, and if it does, then Pandu will experience doom. The deer then die by turning into the original form of a clergyman.
Then due to adverse events like that, Pandu then took his two wives to beg the Almighty Hyang to be given childs. Then Batara Dharma sends to fertilize Kunti thus was born the first child Yudhisthira. Guru then sent Batara Indra to fertilize Kunti thus Harjuna born. Batara Bayu was sent also to fertilize Kunti thus born Bhima, and the latter, Batara Aswin shipped to fertilize Madrim, and Nakula and Sahadev were born.

Vidura had a son named Sanjaya, who has the inner eye to be able to see the past, present, and future.

Ataxia is a terrible disease where the cerebellum of the brain gradually deteriorates to the point where the victim cannot walk, speak, write, or eat. A cruel disease, as it does not affect the mind, it causes the victim feels like a prisoner. (The disease damage the brain ability to control the victim’s brain ability to control her body movement without disturbing her intelligence. Her intelligence made her thought why she could not walk properly, speak, write or eat freely like before and then accepted her fact condition).
The drama was set in 2005 till I know that it was a drama based on true story from Aya’s diary who lived in 60’s-70’s and died in 80’s. The diary itself had sold for 1,1 millions copies in Japan only (not fix statistic) and inspired so many people. But when I read the diary virtually, I found so many differences between the drama and Aya’s real life. Of course we cannot conclude that the script writer change the story line as if she/he just liked to. Because I am really sure she/he could not change Aya’s struggle story without her family’s permission.
I want to make a comparison between ‘Aya’ on drama and ‘Aya’ on her real life based on my point of view as an amateur. Not to say that the drama was a fictive but I found that the changing on drama from the real life caused a different point of view for myself to see Aya. If I compare Aya in her life and the drama, I saw that Aya’s life on drama was very sad but she faced it in a lucky way. Some people said that if we want to see how Aya’s close-to-her-real-life, just watch 1 Litre of Tears movie version. Although there were still some differences to her real life, the movie version was closer to Aya’s real life (based on some people who ever watched the movie and I never).
In movie version, Aya was rolled by Asae Onoishi who acted as Asumi, Aya’s senior and roommate in their disability school. No matter if it was drama or movie version, the purpose is one. To show people what Aya did to struggle from her disease and ask people not to give up easily.
Here are some differences which I could find between Aya in her real life and Aya on drama:
Illness Creeping
In her real life, Aya knew her disease when she was fourteen, sooner-being a senior high girl. So her junior high teacher and mother had a meeting to discuss which school Aya would continue with her condition. In drama, Aya found her disease after being accepted in Higashikou, a favourite school, with her best friend, grated by Kawamoto senpai and also met Haruto. (in her life, Aya also studied at the school)
See? The Aya in drama was more lucky. At least she could cheer happily with Mari, her best friend in front of the publication board where their name written as the exam candidates who passed the Higashikou entrance exam. She blushed when Kawamoto, a boy who she had been his secret admire since eleven was grating her for her acceptance in the school. And also met Haruto, Aya’s guardian.
The real Aya? She and her mom just cried when they knew Aya was accepted in Higashikou.
Cannot play basketball
The drama script writer made Aya as a girl who played basketball actively. Even she joined the basketball club since she was in junior high school. Maybe the writer wanted to make it more dramatics by using basketball as the symbol for Aya who can walk properly and even run freely but then being handicapped in a wheelchair because of her illness. But, in her real life, Aya was bad in athletic. Aya herself noticed why she didn’t put her arms forward to break her fall so she would not fall straight to the face. She thought it might be caused by her poor ability in athletic. In drama, when Aya fell straight to the face while would go to school, didn’t realize why she didn’t put her arms forward to break her fall but mother did.
Once again the Aya in drama had something the Aya in real life did not have T.T
Aya lost her three front teeth.
When Aya crossed the street to another bus stop, it was sprinkling. An elementary school boy shared his umbrella with her and she tried to walk fast trying to keep up with his pace. All of sudden, she fell flat forward, blood flowed from her mouth and stained the wet asphalt in red. And the result? Her lip was swollen and her three front teeth were broken and gone.
Maybe we could see the same scene when Aya had a date with Kawamoto senpai in a night for the firework exhibition, using Yukata. All of sudden, Aya fell when they were holding hands crossed the road. The same thing between Aya and the elementary boy and Aya and Kawamoto was they were waiting the light turned green.
Aya’s all of sudden fallen while having a date did not steal her beauty but how about the all of sudden fallen in her real life?
There were no Kawamoto senpai and Haruto
I think many readers of Aya’s diary hope to see how Aya wrote about Haruto in it. But there was no Haruto actually. The same case to Kawamoto, Aya’s senior in Basketball Club from junior high. If real Aya had a poor ability in athletic, how could she attend a basketball team. If she never be a basketball team, how could she being a basketball club member. If she never be a basketball club member, how could she had a senpai in basketball club named Kawamoto. Even one of the six fears why Aya felt so hard to be transferred to the disability school was boy thingy.
The Aya on the drama ever had a broken heart when Kawamoto senpai letf her when he knew Aya’s condition ( had a rehabilitation in the same room with the old people and doing weird exercises) but then she had Haruto. Who never leave her until she told him not to see each other anymore because she understood that they had different life. Aya stuck with her handicapped and Haruto should continue his life to get being a great doctor in the future.
The Aya in real life? She just had a wish to have a love story with someone she would love.
Firm Mom
The Aya’s mom in drama could show us successfully how Shioka loved her daughter more than herself. How she will do everything to help, protect and made Aya sure that she would never be left. Aya even wrote in her diary if when she had to crawl to reach the bathroom which only 3 meters from her because she could not even stand although if she held something anymore, her mom also crawl behind her (to show she was not alone) and they both cried. Shioka even said that she would take Aya with her if she died then.
But we never see Shioka in drama told Aya that it was only a baby who showed what she thinks by crying and Aya had made a senior high looked bad. We also never show Shioka in drama said that Aya should use her brain to develop everything she had learned so she would not fall so often. Do you remember when Aya asked her mom, dad and doctor if she could get married or not? Shioka just showed her shock with Aya’s question and give silence as the answer.
In their real life, when Aya asked if she could get married to her doctor, Shioka automatically answered ‘No, Little Aya. You can’t’. When Aya asked why she can’t, mom just answered as cheerfully as possible that Aya need someone to get married to. First of all, she had to find someone who fully understand her condition and would agree to marry her.
Shioka realized she had given her daughter a cruel answer. But she did not want to give her a vague reply that would encourage her to cherish an illusion that would soon be dashes.
But then she moved to tears when Aya shook her head and said ‘No’ T.T
Cool Dad
Aya’s dad in drama was an owner of a Tofu Shop and also a funny daddy that showed his strong for facing the whole family problems in front of his children and covered it by his humors successfully. But in the real life, Aya’s dad was a cool man, I mean not as funny as dad on drama. I think Aya did not give many informations about her dad in her diary. She just said that her dad was an impetuous but sweet. Aya wrote she was touched by her dad’s attention when he told that it was better for Aya not to go out of home in a sunny day not in the night.
I think there is no reason to use her cool daddy as one of her unluckiness compared to Aya’s funny dad in drama.
***
I think those are the big points that make Aya in drama is really different with Aya in real life. But whatever it is, I can learn that everything I can get in my life is a bless by Allah. Even the little things like typing on my phone keypad is also a bless for someone who even cannot move her finger freely T.T
And these are the othere little differences between drama and real life for Aya. Not the big deals but they were parts of Aya’s life also.
Aya’s daily activities
In her real life, Aya has the daily tasks like watering the garden, weeding and also check if there are insects on the becks of the leaves of the tomato she planted. But, in drama version, Aya shown as a girl that only go to school, play basket and help mom and dad in tofu shop. Even there was no front yard in Aya’s home.
Mary VS Ganmo
The drama version shows Aya has a dog named by the family as Ganmo. Ganmo was a lost dog found by her (or may be Haruto found him first). Nor Aya either Haruto could keep Ganmo in their house but the probability is bigger for Ganmo to live with Aya (even till Aya’s death, Ganmo still lived with the family). Mom and Dad allowed her to have a pet because they had known about Aya’s illness and want to make her happy by allowing her to do what she likes to. While in her life, Aya has a dog named Mary. Mary was died because the neighbour’s fierce dog bit her.
Aya has two brothers
In drama Aya just has Hiroki as her only brother but actually there is Kentaro, Aya’s youngest brother. And at that time, Rika was only two months. Not a kindergarten student like in drama.
The Other Side of Suffering
Everyone feels pain
But surely, after suffering satisfaction will arrive
Even with sports; studying or other ordeals with life,
It’s like that for everyone
If we can beat the pain, on the other side
a rainbow of happiness awaits us.
That will definitely become a treasure
Lets believe in that.
Step by Step
When my existence seems to disappear
I will look for the place where I can do the best I can
From now on, I’ll deliberate slowly
I won’t be impatient
I won’t be greedy
I won’t give up
Because everyone takes things step by step
He who wishes to wear the crown,
Endure its weight.

Though Tan knows Young Do also likes Eun Sang. And of course the twists and turns the Chaebols should have done to maintain their conglomeratic dynasty.

The story begins with toddler, Yoon Joon-suh accidentally causing the switch of his sister and another baby when he drops the name cards on the two babies' cribs in the hospital's baby room. A nurse who comes in puts the name cards back incorrectly. The story then jumps forward to the teenage years of the two main characters: Yoon Eun-suh and Yoon Joon-suh. They are the children of a professor and believe they are biologically brother and sister until Eun-suh gets hit by a truck and needs a blood transfusion. In the beginning of the drama, Eun-suh is portrayed to be very popular in school whereas her rival, Choi Shin-ae, is smart but does not get the attention she craves from the teacher and classmates. Later, their situations are reversed when everyone discovers that they have been switched at birth.
After the doctor runs blood tests on Mr. and Mrs. Yoon for Eun-suh's transfusion, the Yoons find out that Eun-suh belongs to Mrs. Choi, and that Shin-ae is the Yoon's biological daughter. At first, only the parents and brother know about this, but eventually, Shin-ae discovers the truth after she gets into a fierce argument with her non-biological mother over a teddy bear she received from her biological father. Eun-suh only discovers the truth after Shin-ae begged her biological parents to take her in. In the end, the two daughters return to their original birth parents. Shin-ae moves in with the Yoon family, and Eun-suh moves in with Mrs. Choi, (her biological father is dead) who operates a small restaurant living in abject poverty.
Shortly after the switch, the Yoon family moves to the United States and Eun-suh loses touch with them. Ten years later, Joon-suh returns to South Korea as a successful artist. He goes back to the town he lived in, where he encounters his old friend, Han Tae-seok, who stays at the hotel where Eun-suh works as a telephone receptionist and hotel maid. Tae-seok, (who doesn't know about the brother and sister mix-up) falls in love with Eun-suh and manipulates her until she is fired from her job. One day Eun-suh sees Joon-suh and follows him to the beach where he is with Yumi (his fiancée) and Tae-seok, and the two "siblings" finally meet again after ten years.
Eun-suh and Joon-suh pretend to have a sibling relationship in front of the others, but they meet each other secretly and fall deeply in love, though she always refers to him as "older brother." Shin-ae finds out about their relationship and exposes the two after she finds a love letter Eun-suh wrote to Joon-suh. The two decide to stay together, but are soon forced apart again because their parents are against the union, and Yumi hurts herself and blackmails Joon-suh with suicide to hold on to him.
As a fight between Joon-suh and Tae-seok erupts over their love for Eun-suh, she discovers she has leukemia (the same fatal condition that killed her biological father). She doesn't tell anyone except Tae-seok, who offers to pay for her treatment. When her health deteriorates, the others begin finding out the extent of her condition. Eun-suh soon falls into a coma. Joon-suh finds out about Eun-suh's health and reacts with shock and fear. Tae-seok forces Joon-suh to try to wake up Eun-suh. Luckily, she does wake up, but is too weak to follow the treatment. When it is clear that there is no hope, Joon-suh takes her home so she can spend her last days with him. At this point, Yumi finally lets go of Joon-suh. Joon-suh proposes to Eun-suh and they get married. Eun-suh dies as Joon-suh carries her around the beach where they spent her birthday as teenagers.
Before Eun-suh dies, she tells Joon-suh to move on and continue living. However, Joon-suh, dazed and grief-stricken by the death of his love, is struck by a truck in the same place as Eun-suh's accident during her teenage years and perishes.

Make this post for the sake of my personal drama documentary..
The series tells the tale of two sworn sisters: Xiao Yanzi, an orphaned adventuress, and Ziwei, a talented young lady with an interesting history. Ziwei is actually the illegitimate daughter of Emperor Qianlong. Eighteen years ago, Qianlong had had an affair with her mother, Xia Yuhe, at Lake Daming in Jinan. Because of political reasons, Qianlong left Yuhe, promising to return for her. However, she was already pregnant with his child and waited faithfully for his return. On her deathbed, Yuhe asks Ziwei to find her father, Qianlong.
With her servant Jinsuo, Ziwei travels to Beijing, only to discover the challenges of entering the Forbidden City. While trying to find a way in, they meet Xiao Yanzi at a wedding. Having been abandoned at a young age, Xiao Yanzi lives with her friends Liu Qing and Liu Hong in the Da Zha Yuan. Ziwei and Xiao Yanzi become close friends, with Ziwei moving in with Xiao Yanzi as she runs out of supplies and money. The night after they take a vow of sisterhood, Ziwei tells Xiao Yanzi her mother's last request and her secret mission.
Xiao Yanzi agrees to help Ziwei, and they plan to meet Qianlong during his hunting trip to a local mountain. However, the climb proves to be a challenge for the frail Ziwei and Jinsuo, and Ziwei decides instead to send Xiao Yanzi as her trustworthy messenger. She gives Xiao Yanzi a fan and painting, both gifts that Qianlong gave Yu He years ago.

In the chaos of the hunt, Xiao Yanzi is shot with an arrow by Fifth Prince Yongqi. Wounded and barely conscious, Xiao Yanzi cannot explain her mission to Qianlong, and seeing Xiao Yanzi carrying his fan and painting, he assumes Xiao Yanzi is Yu He's daughter. He treats Xiao Yanzi kindly as she heals, and with having had a parentless childhood, she decides to "borrow" Ziwei's father for a few days. However, she is soon overcome with guilt.
Meanwhile, Ziwei is frantically worried about Xiao Yanzi, afraid that she was captured and executed as a female assassin. One day, Ziwei sees Xiao Yanzi parading the streets with Qianlong in a palaquin with the title "Huanzhu Gege" and believes Xiao Yanzi has deceived her. Hurt and confused, she chases after the palaquin, screaming Xiao Yanzi's name and causing a commotion. The emperor's guards rush to restrain her, but when Fu Erkang, one of the Emperor's bodyguards, hears hints that she might be telling the truth, he rescues her. The Fu family soon learns the full truth.
Life in the Palace
Ziwei and Jinsuo are persuaded by the Fus to live in the Fu household, Xue Shi Fu, temporarily. Around this time, Xiao Yanzi learns she could be beheaded for lying to the emperor if the truth comes out. Because both Yongqi and Ertai are infatuated with Xiao Yanzi, they ask Ziwei to keep quiet about her secret.
Slowly, Erkang and Ziwei begin to fall in love. Erkang realizes their marriage is impossible, however, because he cannot marry Ziwei if she only has the status of a commoner. Meanwhile, Xiao Yanzi has her own troubles in the Forbidden City. Her outlandish behaviour and lack of sense of propriety shock and offend the Empress, and one day, even Qianlong becomes overwhelmed with Xiao Yanzi's disobedience and outspokenness. Punished by him with twenty beatings despite pleas from Consort Ling, Yongqi, and Ertai, Xiao Yanzi briefly dreams of fleeing palace life. However, Qianlong and Xiao Yanzi soon mend fences and become even closer.
Sensing the romance between Ziwei and Erkang, Erkang's parents, Fu Da Ren and Fu Jin, kindly ask Ziwei to give up Erkang. Heartbroken, Ziwei and Jinsuo leave Xue Shi Fu without notice, leaving Erkang in panic. Unsuccessful in his search, he calls for the help of Xiao Yanzi, who finds out where Ziwei is from Liu Qing and Liu Hong. When the friends finally find Ziwei, they decide it is perhaps best to sneak Ziwei into the Forbidden City as well.
Ziwei, along with Jinsuo, enjoys an excellent start in the Forbidden City. Although only a court maid, she quickly attracts Qianlong's attention with her talent, intelligence, and kindness. This arouses the jealousy of the Empress, who views Ziwei as a potential political threat. She secretly brings Ziwei to her palace, Kunning Gong, and pierces her with needles. Ziwei nearly dies but is rescued by Qianlong, Xiao Yanzi, Erkang, Ertai, and Yongqi. The incident impresses Qianlong with Ziwei's inner strength, and his love for Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei becomes so great that he takes them on his Wei Fu Chu Xing.
Traveling outside Beijing (Wei Fu Chu Xun)
Qianlong uses the time to enjoy life outside the Forbidden City. Hoping to reveal Ziwei's true identity without angering the emperor, Erkang, Yongqi, and Ertai plan to find a chance to request a special order from Qianlong, promising that he will never execute Ziwei and Xiao Yanzi.
During the trip, feelings between Xiao Yanzi and Yongqi begin to arise. Yongqi had begun to develop a crush on Xiao Yanzi after discovering she is not really his sister. However, their relationship is awkward because they are currently considered brother-sister. When Yongqi first admits his feelings to Xiao Yanzi, she is confused and bewildered, but quickly becomes jealous when another girl named Cai Lian likes Yongqi. Xiao Yanzi could not eat or speak during his presence because of her jealously. The day after, when Xiao Yanzi suddenly got a horse and ride away, Yongqi chases after her. Xiao Yanzi got injured and Yongqi told her that she is the only one in his heart and Cai Lian doesn't have the tiniest part of his heart. Once they kissed,Xiao Yanzi returns Yongqi's feelings, and in the meantime, romance between Ziwei and Erkang grows deeper. Unfortunately, Qianlong, subconsciously recalling Ziwei's mother, falls in love with Ziwei as well. Throughout the journey, Xiao Yanzi fights injustice, rescuing many civilians.
Qianlong's Wei Fu Chu Xing is abruptly put to a halt when an old woman tries to assassinate the emperor. Ziwei shields Qianlong from the knife, and though the others get rid of the assassins, the damage is done. Thinking she is on her deathbed, Ziwei asks Qianlong never to execute Xiao Yanzi, which he agrees. She then asks Erkang to marry and thus provide for Jinsuo, her loyal servant and friend.
Miraculously, Ziwei surviving the stabbing, and Qianlong admires her all the more for her remarkable bravery and unbelievably wise, which is very rare for such a girl like her. After returning to the Forbidden City, Qianlong hints that he wants to take Ziwei as his concubine. Meanwhile, Princess Saiya, have arrived in Beijing.

Arrival of the Princess and Conclusion
Saiya and Xiao Yanzi quickly develop a rivalry, as Saiya's kung fu skills stir up feelings of competition. After fighting against Erkang in a match, Saiya develops a crush on Erkang. Her father asks Qianlong if he can arrange a marriage between Saiya and Erkang. Although Qianlong originally intended to save Erkang for Xiao Yanzi, he agrees, creating huge dilemmas for Ziwei and Erkang.
At this point, Xiao Yanzi, Ziwei, Yongqi, Erkang, Ertai, and Jinsuo decide it is time to reveal their secret. Qianlong is shocked to discover Ziwei is his true daughter, as he had once considered taking her in as a concubine. He is hurt to know that Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei, two people he trusted most, had tricked him. The Empress takes advantage of the situation to tell Qianlong that she always knew something was wrong with Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei. Under pressure from the Empress, Qianlong agrees to imprison Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei in Zhong Ren Fu, even though Consort Ling pleads that he reconsiders. Jinsuo, wanting to risk her life rather than Ziwei's, joins them.
Hoping to finish Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei once and for all, the Empress conspires with Liang Da Ren, the man in charge of Zhong Ren Fu. She orders him to force Xiao Yanzi, Ziwei, and Jinsuo to sign a statement that their disguise was for an attempt to murder Qianlong. Refusing to sign such a ridiculous document, the three girls are whipped harshly. Knowing that the three cannot survive long in such conditions, Yongqi, Erkang, and Ertai risk their lives and break into the jail to free the three girls. Because they have broken the law, the six decide to run away forever.
At the same time, Qianlong begins to regret his actions. He realizes how much he has grown to love Xiao Yanzi and Ziwei. His officers and Consort Ling also beg that he release them. Qianlong goes to Zhong Ren Fu and decides to let them go, but is aghast that they had already escaped. Furious, Qianlong orders that they all be found and executed.
Feelings of guilt arise as Xiao Yanzi and her entourage run away. Ertai decides to return to the Forbidden City and explain matters to Qianlong. Knowing that Ertai would most likely be beheaded, Ziwei begs that they all return and face Qianlong. They soon agree and return to the Forbidden City.
Despite his original intention to behead them all, Qianlong is heartbroken to see that the three girls have been whipped. He orders them to return to their house (Shu Fang Zai) in the Forbidden City to rest, but they refuse to go until he has forgiven Yongqi, Erkang, and Ertai. Feigning reluctance at first, Qianlong soon admits the entire matter is actually his fault for getting involved with Yu He in the first place. As he also cannot bear to kill his favourite people, he forgives them all. At Shu Fang Zai, Qianlong recognizes Ziwei as his daughter. He hand-feeds her medicine and the two share a father-daughter hug. Despite not being of royal blood, Xiao Yanzi keeps her title as the beloved Huanzhu Gege.
Only the Empress and Nanny Rong are displeased with these developments. The Empress reprimands Qianlong for being tricked by "some eighteen-year-old girls." Qianlong ignores her and questions her on her involvement in conspiring against the girls. Angered, Qianlong orders the Empress's and Nanny Rong's immediate removal to Zhong Ren Fu. Yongqi begs Qianlong to reconsider: it is inappropriate to punish the "Mother of the Country." In her desperation and fury that Qianlong no longer considers her thoughts, the Empress snatches a nearby scissors and cuts part of her hair off, intending to flee to the monastic Buddhist life. Ziwei pleads mercy on their behalf, hoping to make peace with the Empress. Qianlong relents, and the rivalry seems to have ended.
The last obstacle, the proposal between Saiya and Erkang, is solved when Ertai courts Saiya as a favour to Erkang, and the two fall in love. The story concludes with a ceremony, during which Ziwei is proclaimed Ming Zhu Gege (明珠格格, lit. Princess Bright Pearl). Qianlong also announces a betrothal between Xiao Yanzi and Yongqi, Ziwei and Erkang, and Ertai and Saiya. The three couples and Jinsuo end the series by riding on horseback through the countryside, singing with joy.

Make this post for the sake of my personal drama documentary..
“The sky in Ganseng, Wonju, Gangreung and Chuncheon. Seemed flying plate-shaped object. It was really big and bolted as fast as an arrow. Concurrently with a thunder, it’s gone in a glance. Then the sky cleaned up without any cloud.”
In 1609, the first year of the reign of King Gwanghae, was the first time for Do Min Joon arriving on Earth. He came from a planet what humans called KMT 184.05, a planet which was very similar to Earth. And now, Min Joon has lived for more than 400 years on this planet where we live in. He has adapted with the whole magnetic fields, gravity and even water. His hearing and sight are 7 times better than the common humans’. He can grab something far just by opening his hand, teleport ability to move from his current position to another location and he can also stops time for 1 minute.
From a human’s point of view, he is just 1 mm in distance from being perfect. But there are two prohibitions he must protect himself not to break. First, it’s forbidden for his body liquid (saliva) and blood to mix with human’s. If not, he will partially lost his power and energy. Second, he will die if he kills humans. The first prohibition is not something really crucial as it only needs some time to heal. But for the second one, Min Joon has to protect himself from that one if he wants to live safely in his last three months living on Earth, before going to return to the star where he comes from.
In other side of that country, an actress is waiting for her next shoot in relax. She is Chun Song Yi the arrogant high levelled-star. Fans scream her name and fight to snap her pictures. Manager and assistant have been trained to never make her waiting to be served. Everything she needs, orders and even thinks should be there in time. She appears on TV, magazines, internet or newspaper, either for movie, drama or commercial breaks. It must be a main role if she takes a part on a movie or drama. She gets the most expensive valued contract and her selfie poster hanged on the most luxurious building with the highest monthly payment for an advertisement. In short, she is the Nation Goddess.
But a fame is only a name. Song Yi’s intelligence is not as bright as her career. She always humiliates her own image without realizing she has just shown people her stupidity. She clearly shows that she can not differentiate mokhwa seed (cotton) and mocha. She mentions she consumes profol for anti-ageing instead of propolis. Even a kid knows what ‘garlic’ is. Shame on her when she tweets she wonders why she smells ‘garlic’ on ‘garlic pizza’. Lol.
Another characters are Se Mi, Hwi Kyung, Jae Kyung, Yu Ra and Lawyer Jang. Se Mi is also an actress. She has been Song Yi’s best friend since they were in junior high. Together they transform from kid actresses to be how they are currently. But Se Mi has to accept the fact that Song Yi is hundred steps further than her. She is the first and Se Mi is the least. People call her Song Yi’s shadow and she gets her fame from her status as a close friend of Song Yi. Since they were young, there has been a big lack of success between them.
Song Yi always gets the main role like she always being the employer's daughter and Se Mi is the daughter of servant of Song Yi’s family on drama. Something has intimidated Se Mi for years is the truth that almost the whole role she acts as, are because Song Yi always asks the directors to involve Se Mi in every projects she is in. But Se Mi is the true actress, she can act without script. She hides her true feeling and waits for the right moment to reveal. Hwi Kyung causes her hatred to Song Yi becomes worst.
Hwi Kyung is the second son/heir of the most powerful company in South Korea. He loves Song Yi since forever. Can be guessed! Se Mi loves Hwi Kyung. Or more precisely, she has loved him as long as Hwi Kyung has patiently waited for Song Yi to accept his heart. Song Yi just considers him as the bestest best-friend. Song Yi instead hoping she can meet again with her first love, the man saving her 12 years ago from a car accident. Hwi Kyung is a very understanding man. Without forcing, he keeps by Song Yi’s side and offers her any helps he can give.
Who’s the 12-years-ago man? He is Do Min Joon. He looks the 12-years-ago Song Yi really looked alike Seo Yi Hwa, the first human girl Min Joon had different feeling to. 400 years ago, Min Joon helped Yi Hwa but she then died in his hug to be shield for him from the archery by men chasing to kill them. 12 years later for Song Yi and Min Joon, in her new apartment, it turns out Song Yi is being neighbor with Do Min Joon who is also a professor in the campus Song Yi is studying at.
Song Yi with her overdosis confidence that she is Chun Song Yi the Nation Goddes, pissed off by Min Joon’s indifference showing he never know who she is and never try to find info about her because he needn’t to know. He never pay her attention till unintentionally Min Joon sees a family picture of hers which he finds Yi Hwa on it. Min Joon forces Song Yi to tell who the real she is.
In a private wedding party held by one of Song Yi’s celeb friend on a yacht, Yu Ra, her rival in entertainment industry, found dead. Police announced it is a suicide and people start to attack Song Yi verbally. They curse her to die. It’s not a secret what a bad sunbae (senior) and hoobae (junior) relationship the two actresses have. Yu Ra is older than Song Yi in age while Song Yi is the senior in this industry. (In South Korea, age is not only a number matter. It’s something affects someone in social life and their utterance with others).
Netizens blame Song Yi. They malign that Yu Ra must be desperately for having been simultaneously mocked by the younger. That’s why she commits suicide. This rumour ruins Song Yi’s career. She loses many contracts and has to pay the penalties. She is removed from her on-going drama which is replaced by Se Mi. Even the CEO who always lures her with perfect facility to make her keep staying in his company, secretly arranges a plan to kick her out from his management. But Song Yi is still Song Yi. She has her head straight and walks gracefully and states she is the party who terminates the contract, no desire to continue the drama and she has bored in collaboration with her old CEO. The truth is she has lost everything. But at least she finally knows what the real nature her best friend has is.
There’s still Hwi Kyung, actually. But she wants to lock herself in her loneliness for awhile. Unexpectedly Min Joon is the only one left by Song Yi’s side. He helps her at any time she needs it. Nevertheless, he does it forcefully. He uses his power to stop time to protect her from an antifans wants to hurt her, suddenly appear from nowhere when she almost falls into ravine. And flashback, Min Joon had helped her in the private party when the drunk Song Yi would fall headlong to Han River.
Min Joon who knows more than common humans do, finds Jae Kyung (Hwi Kyung’s older brother) is someone behind Yu Ra’s death. Jae Kyung is a psychophat who has sent his normal ex-wife to a mental hospital and now, Song Yi who knows he and Yu Ra are dating, will be his next target. It’s because Song Yi keeps Yu Ra’s pouch on the night of her death, which there is a USB that stores Jae Kyung’s crimes evidences. Jae Kyung desires Song Yi’s death because he worries she will tell the detectives (one of them is Se Mi’s older brother) working on Yu Ra’s case about his relationship with Yu Ra, who are suspicious it is a murder. That if it’s known Jae Kyung and Yu Ra date, there’s a possibility he will be inspected and his crimes will be revealed. They are indeed dating. And Yu ra who knows his crimes was pregnant of Jae Kyung’s baby.

The weak, careless, stubborn and outspoken Song Yi has won over Min Joon’s heart. Not to mention she is being in her lowest power, makes Min Joon wants to help her more. Song Yi, too. She knows that she has been too dependent with Min Joon but she can feel other than needing calls love. She confesses her love. Remembering there are only two months left to stay on Earth, and when it comes, it will hurts Song Yi more than a rejection, Min Joon tells he never like Song Yi and never feel nervous when they are contiguous. Song Yi doesn’t give up.
Min Joon then lies he never interests in Song Yi as herself. Song Yi’s resemblance with Yi Hwa is the only reason why Min Joon always there to help her. Except than that, nothing. To make her give up, Min Joon reveals his real identity that he actually is an alien. Instead of fear like Min Joon’s old friends who scampered after knew the truth about him, Song Yi precisely considers that’s only his trick to stop annoying him. It breaks her heart and pissed her off at once. If Min Joon fools her by telling he is an alien, so Song Yi is a vampire. Lol.
Min Joon lover her. Loves her so much. That’s why he can’t do what Song Yi orders to never care about her anymore and go away from her life, just leave her alone. Min Joon knows Jae Kyung is targeting her, he applies so many cunning ways to kill Song Yi. Like harming her on shooting set that also hurts his brother to coma and trapping her materialistic mother to sign an exclusive contract with a management under Jae Kyung’s company. Min Joon starts to think killing Jae Kyung is the only way to save Song Yi. But, Lawyer Jang who has been Min Joon's only friend for 30 years, begs him to return to his star safely.
Min Joon then takes a step to be a Manager-lawyer for Song Yi when she acts on action movie where Se Mi gets the main role and she is only a supportive actress. Song Yi asks why. Min Joon says it’s because Song Yi keeps doing things to worry him, like signing contract with random guys and getting caught up in engagement rumours (with Hwi Kyung after he helps Song Yi from an accident in shooting set). Finally he tells the honesty, he loves Song Yi, too. He then explains of how he and his team made the trip to Earth, which involved terraforming an asteroid to make it seem like an ordinary comet, to hide it from the Erath’s view. And to time its arrival to coincide with Earth’s orbit at the point where it’s the nearest the sun. This orbit takes 404 years, so this a month’s time in Min Joon’s last chance to return to his home. Or if not, he will die.
Song Yi hardens her heart, saying she is good in waiting. But waiting for Min Joon to comeback to Earth is not something like waiting for one year even not 10 years. Because Min Joon will never be able to return back to Earth. Song Yi cries. She ask if it’s really impossible for Min Joon to just stay on Earth with her. It has been hundreds of years he lives on Earth and he will go in the minutes they meet? If Min Joon can’t stay, Song Yi asks Min Joon to leave her alone quietly.
Min Joon says yes. But still, it’s far far away from possible for them to forget each other. Song Yi asks Min Joon to spend his last one month to do what couples will do in one or three years of their relationship. Like wearing couple ring in the hundredth day, dinning in Namsan Tower and lock love-lock there, or travelling to Europe in their thiusandth day. Song Yi asks Min Joon to do so because maybe she will bore with Min Joon before the one month period is over. Min Joon agrees, but only less than 1 minute Song Yi can’t see him, she screams and cries telling she worries Min Joon will leave her without saying good bye.
